A snug fit is best to get the most accurate readings. Your device is capable of up to 40 hours of life, depending on usage. We appreciate your feedback, but we do assure you that reason why your older smartphone would not be able to connect with your Watch6 Classic is not due to the watch itself, but rather that the software of your phone is not able to connect to the updated software of the watch. While we do aim to make our watches as compatible with as many of our smartphones as we can, eventually the software will progress to a point where some phones are not able to keep up.
