Pair Bluetooth headphones to Galaxy smart watch

Sometimes it's hard to keep the music going at the office without disturbing anyone around you. Instead, you should connect your smart watch to a pair of Bluetooth headphones, so you can enjoy the soundtrack of your life. You can easily switch between Bluetooth devices and alter their settings right from the watch. You can also take calls if your watch is connected to a phone. You can find the newest Galaxy smart watch and earbud headphones on the Samsung Shop.

Note: Available screens and settings may vary by provider, phone, or watch.

Pair Bluetooth headphones

Note: Audio output for call conversation to Bluetooth headphones is only available with LTE watch models. If the switch for Call audio and Media audio is turned off, you will not hear any output to the Bluetooth headphones and they may disconnect from the watch.

Pairing your Bluetooth headphones will only take a few moments, and then you’ll be ready to listen to your favorite music.

  1. On your watch, navigate to Settings. Then, swipe to and tap Connections, and tap Bluetooth.

  2. Verify the switch for Bluetooth is turned on, and then make sure the headphones are in pairing mode.

  3. Tap Bluetooth audio or Bluetooth headset, and then select the desired Bluetooth headphones.

    Note: On Wear OS watches, simply swipe up to see the available Bluetooth headphones that are available.

  4. Once they're paired, tap the Settings icon next to the Bluetooth headphones to enable Call audio and Media audio, or you can tap Unpair to unpair the headphones.

  5. You can also connect or disconnect the headphones using the Quick settings panel. Swipe down from the top of the watch's screen, and then tap the Bluetooth audio icon.
