The Customer has to purchase specific Home Appliances from Samsung online eStore and submit old Home appliance during delivery, Samsung can accept only : Refrigerator, Washing Machine, Dishwasher, Microwave Oven, Vacuum Cleaner, Gas Cooker, Airdresser , Air Purifier. After submission of old unit, customer has to complete the registration on the link: https://ha.samsungtradein.ae , then our trade-in partner will contact the customer within 2 business days to arrange the cashback.

How do I know my old unit value?

There’s no value for the old unit since the unit will be recycled and it will not be sold as second-hand, however you can refer to the table to know how much you will get as top-up value.

What I need to do before old unit is collected?

You need to make sure that the old unit is uninstalled and ready for collection (for example, a refrigerator must be empty of food or liquids, or a washing machine must be empty of clothes, dried, and disconnected from the power/water supply etc...).

What if the old unit is not ready for collection?

In case the old unit is not ready for collection, the delivery and installation team has the right to refuse the collection and/or arrange the collection at a later time, If you need to arrange at later time, please contact 800-Samsung.

What will happen to the old unit after collection?

After the collection, the old unit will be submitted to an authorized recycling company.

What If I have changed my mind and I need to get my old unit back after collection

After collection, the old unit will be submitted for recycling, hence reclaiming of the whole/part/ items inside the old unit will not be possible once it is collected from the Customer’s house.

Can I get proof that the unit is recycled and not sold as secondhand

Yes, Customer can contact 800-Samsung and ask to get copy of Green Certificate, However it’s important to understand that Green Certificate is not issued for individual recycled product, but it will be for the full batch of products are being recycled.

Can I submit more than one unit for recycling?

No, we are accepting only one product for recycling, However if you need to recycle old Home Appliance, you can place new request after purchasing new product from Samsung online store.

How many days it takes to get my cashback amount?

Once Samsung verifies the information and confirm that the old product is collected, our trade-in partner (Northladder) will contact the customer within four business days to initiate the bank transfer for cashback. The bank transfer might take up to 10 working days to reflect in the customer's account and is subject to the T&Cs of the bank.
