Consumption of battery is 8 hours initially, after software update it's goes down to straight 5 to 6 if (90 percentage) and I don't why it lack often know I don't even play games or use any heavy app know most important from 2 to 3 days it's vibrating uncontrollably straight for couples of minutes and if I tried to switch off it i don't know why the volume button and switch off button stop working for exactly particular I am not this making up, it's genuinely concerning me I am from India and punjab if you any more information then have it i will email it . I think my Dad's 9year old samsung j7nxt is much better than that contact me or notify me through sms if you know solution of these problems .

I'm 76, male, with a degenerative brain disease, you should ask the youngsters. I have always used Samsung since my first personal mobile phone in 1999. The last one was Galaxy A10. Brilliant. Did everything I wanted, light, bounced when I dropped it but got tired. Battery I think. Anyway looked for replacement I could afford and chose A16. It's a brilliant phone but too much for me. It's heavy and has too many bells andcwhistles that I just can't get my head round. Daughter has Samsung so keeps me on the straight and narrow.

It's a fine phone. Photos are okay, battery life is okay, but very low speed performance and can get very hot. Overheating is a major problem, mine overheated from even using just the calculator. It's very durable though. A good budget phone for light everyday use. A really nice wide display but the low performance means watching TikToks, films, etc is nice at first but can get slow and laggy very quickly. The camera cam be really good in very specific moments, but is usually always a bit low quality.

The phone is fine. BUT IT DOES NOT COMMUNICATE LOW BLOOD GLUCOSE ALARMS when linked with a Libre2 blood glucose sensor which is the primary reason I bought it. My old A12 worked fine with he Libre system, but it's microphone failed, so I upgraded to an A16... wish I'd had my A12 repaired instead...still might. Problem is phone doesn't seem able to cope with multiple notification sounds, so the characteristic Libre low blood glucose alarm, is just audible as a normal 'ping' or whatever notification sound you've chosen... making the phone pretty useless if you need this feature. Also not keen on new icon graphics...just change for change sake. I 'm used to icons on A12, not have to go hunting for what I'm looking for. Like I say, phone is fine , but definate compatibility issuse with Abbott/Libre App.

No faster than my old Huawei cheapo, and more difficult to find files etc. I don't like the way it organises emails. You have to fiddle around to read the message you are replying to. I can't see why that system was introduced. For some reason, it always says I have at least three unread voicemails, no matter how many there are or indeed if there are none. I can't download the Merlin birdcall app, which I could on the Huawei.

This phone having issues with camera both front and back. Even calling and receiving audio is too low. Even if it's full volume you find audio is not coming full output. Moreover internet speed also very slow. I tried using different Sim same issue. Now getting regreat why I wasted the money. And additionally no charger and no 3.5 mm jack. Please buy some other brand mobile. Audio is to to low while on call..

After the first month of owning the A16 lags so bad you may as well have the a01. It was good at first but of course when other versions come out this phone like turned into an entire piece of crap. It lags so bad it's almost not worth having. Got it because it was free, like most samsung products, garbage.

I bought this new specifically to replace my Tomtom sat nav, which had become a pain because of all too frequent pester tactics to upgrade, along with the cost involved, in order to keep up to date. Using the A16 I have a suitable sized display, and google maps are constantly up to date wherever I travel.

This is a horrible phone. Yes I went from a Samsung S20FE so to be excepted, but its so slow, the camera is horrible there is really nothing I like about it. Doesnt help that I overpaid from a kiosk and realized it after. Even at regular price I would still be disappointed. The performance is suboptimal.

I like the A16 and it fulfills my requirements in the UK. HOWEVER, I am now on holiday in Turkey and discovered that the A16 cannot be connected for mobile communications and it require an A16 G to be supported on a e mail/mobile network. I am not sure whether the A16 can upgraded to a A16G?

This is my second A16. I replaced the first because it stopped auto connecting to WiFi in locations were it previously had no problem connecting. The second A16 worked better. Until just this week. It, now, will not connect in locations where it previously had no problem connecting. i.e. developed the same problem as the first. It will not connect to WiFi unless the signal is very strong. Once connected, if I relocated to an area with weak Wifi it stays connected. But if for some reason it disconnects (like I do a restart) it will not auto connect until I move to a location with very strong signal. For reference, I also have a A15. Its WiFi works and auto connects in all the locations the A16 will not work. I used the Intelligent WiFi feature in both phones to compare the WiFi signal strength as measured by each phone in the same location of my house. The A15 signal strength runs -40 to -50dB. The A16 signal strength has wild variations ranging from -50 to -80dB. They messed up WiFi in the A16.

Very good and reliable budget phone. The UI is customisable and easy to use. The phone itself has a good build quality. The only thing I did not like was the tear drop camera cutout. I expected the hole punch cutout for the price. Any I recommend this phone.

I hate the fingerprint on the side button it was much better on the a34 with the fingerprint on the screen. It never recognises my fingerprint this way. This means I have to use my digital log on which is intensely irritating.

I am so upset with this phone. I was told it was going to be a great phone and better than my old phone. It is not. I am an android user and have used Samsung for a very long time. The way this phone acts and how Samsung handled it, makes me want to not use their products. My 6 year old cracked galaxy that has fallen in water works better than this phone. This phone cracked the first day. It was barely set down. It takes forever to charge. And it overheats a lot. You can't use 2 apps at once. If you charge it and use the gps, it overheats. It constantly lags and shuts down. The camera is nowhere near as good as they advertise. And if you are taking pictures, it will work for 1 or 2 and then freeze. Very hard to take pictures of moving objects because it does this. All in all, this phone is awful. It may be good for like a child's first phone. Other than that, it is a piece of junk compared to what I have had in the past. It is not a good phone for everyday use as a main phone for an adult. It is not worth the price and it needs to be advertised as a beginner phone.

Only thing I don't like is I cannot turn the phone off because geni is there. But it's clear and a good volume on it
