I LOVE this tablet! It's so easy to use. Everything just feels so fluid and natural, especially when it comes to drawing. I primarily use it for drawing and honestly, it makes things so much easier. I love the feel of the pen, it just feels so good in my hand and it's so responsive. I've not had any issues at all with it. I would highly recommend this for any artists out there, at any skill level. I have had a number of devices in the past to try get more into my art but they've never really worked, until i got a hold of this tablet and man. I'm making leaps and bounds in my progress. It honestly feels like until now, i've been missing something, but now i've found it in this tablet. Yes that is cheesy, but i honestly recommend this to any and all artists!

Amazing tab this s8 Ultra-so far everything runs so quick and smoothly. I have not been able to take advantage of all of the tips and tricks, as I have not been well for the last 8 weeks. However this tablet is so nice to use . I would like to express my congratulations to Samsung for I think I know why you chose the name Ultra? as it most certainly is the Ultra Tablet on the market-in my estimation, the tablet deals with everything that I have wanted to do on it, so im pleased as punch with it .

Just a very quick review to say I feel silly for how long it took me to get this tablet. I use this for work as a structural engineer, marking up drawings, sketches and even design calculations. The biggest hurdle for me working from home was printing and scanning, this completely removed that requirement. Now I write on pdf's with the ultra responsive pen, with no lag! Highly Recommend this for the professional and I also use it for the kids homeworks. Thanks Stephen

All that matters is that you have it now, Stephen, and it's great to see that it's not only being a superb assistant for your work life, but also for your children's education. The ultra-intelligent S Pen will make any task feel more natural, and simplistic, as it reacts exactly to your hand movements without deviating, and it's ease of connection to external devices gives you more freedom as to how many different products you need to use at any given time. We're delighted that you're loving it, and appreciate the recommendation. ^DB at Samsung Support

was an ipad pro user until 2020, when the Galaxy Tab S7+ came out, bought it, loved it, fit well in my student life, got my friend to try it, he immediately bought it and said it was one of his best purchases glad that Samsung is pushing forward with their Galaxy Tabs every year, and the Galaxy tab s8 ultra is the best choice, 14.6inches but with such thin bezels, a sleek, lightweight design, truely a premium experience hats off to samsung!

Love my tab S8 ultra 512gb 5g, ive had it nearly 1 and a half year now, great piece of kit, super fast, cracking display + sound and still takes a microsd card (bring these back on the phones samsung), I mostly use for streaming videos however only just found out you have to pay for Microsoft, to edit or fill in word documents. Its not as much fun having to type out on S23ultra (for free) when you've purchased the flagship tablet .

There's plenty to love about your new Tab S8 Ultra, Rory, and we're delighted to see that you've discovered some favourites since you've been using it. It's not only our largest tablet ever, but also our most powerful as well, so it will effortlessly keep up with everything that you would use it for, even streaming high definition content. We do understand your frustration with the compatibility with Office, but sadly we often have no control over how third-party products are utilised on our devices. ^DB at Samsung Support

This is my 5th Tab S. Since the S2, S3, S4, S6 & now S8 Ultra. Each one just gets better. I'm pleased that the facial camera is now in the long top edge. Much better for Skype & Teams etc meetings. The extra size meets my needs too. Impressed with the smooth graphics capabilities. Not generally a gaming fan, but Mahjong is great on this. The keyboard cover does exactly what I want & the track pad adds to its use.

It's great to see that you're such a long-standing fan of our range of tablets, and have been able to experience all of the innovations and advances that we've made over the years. Your Tab S8 Ultra takes everything that you've loved about tablets and boosts them all to remarkable new levels. The re-positioning of the camera, plus the increased size, and the addition of the keyboard cover, has opened up the tablet to whole new possibilities, and allow it to be used either more effectively, in whole new and exciting ways. Even if you're not a big gamer you'll still see the benefit of the improved screen with everything that you would use it for, from casual browsing to intense binge-watching. ^DB at Samsung Support

Brilliant device, does everything I hoped it would and more, yes it's large, but that's one of the benefits especially for taking notes with the S pen. Battery life is very good too and 45w fast charging is fantastic. Viewing videos is just a joy on this amoled screen, the sound from the speakers is excellent, given the size of the tablet. Connectivity has been flawless, I have the 5g model and where 5g is available it has been perfect, although I use it mainly on WiFi. As for portability, it's lighter and smaller than a laptop of similar sized screen, and wring to text or using the on screen keyboard in my opinion is perfect, I do not have a keyboard case for this, but am sure it would add to the experience, that said, it would add a little more bulk to its portability. Overall I am extremely happy with the performance and size, and most likely will upgrade in the future to another S series ultra 😍

I love it. The screen is huge, crisp and vibrant. It's fast and responsive, battery is decent for the screen size, I'm not a power user of the tab so only need to charge very 2 or 3 days. Everything works as it should, no glitches or problems. Very happy with it, feels really nice to use and has the wow factor.

I've had quite a few tablets now, but none have been as technically complete as this, you might say this is to be expected from a device with ultra in its name but Samsung have done a great job with this. From the sheer vibrant screen size, the sturdy but thin design, to the internals (surprisingly full sound from the speakers, 12gb ram, fast processor & SD card support), I'd say it's the first device (phone or tablet) that deserves the 'Ultra' label. The only minor issues I have are software related, the 1st is One UI home screen doesn't directly support custom icon packs like most launchers, I know it's possible to add them with the theme manager but it's such an unnecessary extra process. The other minor gripe is the lack of home screen folder options (column & rows), I have a Samsung phone and the folder options are there in good lock, why omit them for tablets (it was the same with the Tab S7), baffling. But that it for negatives, it is a brilliant device, such an easy recommend.

The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is our largest tablet ever, and not a single pixel of its incredible 14.6" Super AMOLED is wasted, making it the new epic standard for visual excellence from a tablet, complimented expertly by it's speaker array. We're sorry to see that you've had some issues with your Tab S8 Ultra freezing. We want to get this sorted for you so can you enjoy it in all its glory, as you expected! Please check that it has enough storage space, as this could be a reason for the tablet freezing and affecting performance. We always recommend to have at least 10% storage space. To check this, go to Settings > Battery and device care > Storage. It's recommended to delete large files and apps if there is not much space. Huge screen, great pen, all the usual android advantages. The issue is that the OS 'thinks' the tablet is a large phone, rather than a bespoke tablet OS. This creates a number of shortcomings when you try to integrate over other devices.
