I received this tumble dryer from Samsung for product testing purposes.
Being the nerd that I am, the first thing I did was, obviously, to compare the energy consumption with our old dryer. This showed a 75% drop, drying two bath sheets and numerous hand towels and face cloths for around 5 pence. Result!!
The different programmes are easy to understand. You dial in what you want to dry and it will show a weight limit and the estimated drying time. With the moisture monitoring system it automatically adjusts the time needed to dry your clothes as the programme runs.
All of this you can easily monitor on your phone or tablet with Samsung Smart Things app. No more running back and forth to see how many minutes are left to go, only to discover that half of the things are still damp!
With it running for longer at a lower heat, there is no danger of things shrinking and everything seems easier to iron straight out the drum. All this and the towels come out fantastically soft and fluffy too.
An all round, absolute winner!

I received this Tumble Dryer from Samsung for product testing purposes.
Installation was very simple.
First impressions were good, the machine is aesthetically pleasing and feels solid and well built.
We had a minor issue with the visibility of the control markings in the lighting conditions of our room.
The gold on grey markings are difficult to see from a standing position.
Fortunately there are Braille and tactile guides so we got used to finding the controls quickly.
It is remarkably quiet compared to any tumble dryer we have previously owned.
The condenser action is far more convenient than having to wrestle a vent hose out of a window as we did before.
The filter is well designed and very effective. The machine prompts you to clean the filter (if you forget) and the heat exchanger when needed.
The machine "learns" which drying programmes are used most often and can offer them as first options to save time.
The drying programmes are significantly longer than previous machines but they are far more efficient which is much better for energy costs and environmental impact.
The Smart Home features of the machine were easy to set up, and do provide useful information, but we have not yet explored them all.
Two features which are particularly appreciated in our household are;
1) The internally illuminated drum
2) The reversible door to facilitate transfer of laundry from the washing machine to the tumble dryer.
In summary; A satisfactory and very efficient machine.

I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes and we are really happy with it.
It is quiet, looks good and leaves clothes feeling really soft.
The SmartThings app makes selecting options simple and I now use it all the time to select the cycle to use. I also like the fact that it suggests a setting based on the previous wash performed by my Samsung washing machine.
The 'recipe' function in the app is very useful; you select which items are in the load and it suggests a cycle to use accordingly.
Most importantly, it leaves clothes feeling really lovely and soft, more so than my previous dryer. It also doesn't blow out warm air like my old condenser did and the filter, which is realyl easy to clean, seems to pick up a lot more fluff.
After a couple of weeks of daily use I haven't had any issues and overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this dryer.

I received this tumble dryer from Samsung for product testing purposes.
I am delighted that this machine performs significantly better than my previous tumble dryer. It dries my laundry perfectly and can be programmed to intermittently rotate at the end of the cycle in order to prevent clothes becoming creased if you cannot empty it immediately.
There are a number of different programmes to try and the smart app is useful as it can automatically select the correct drying programme depending on the wash programme used.
It is a really quiet machine, has easy to clean filters and an effective water collection receptacle.
I am looking forward to trying some of the lesser used programmes to see how well they perform.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quicker drying time than anticipated. Nothing has taken 3 hours plus; in fact, it usually takes about 1hr 30 mins. My old dryer was an old B rated dryer and could take an hour. This is A+++ rated, so a lot more energy efficient. Very quiet to run and looks well. What I also love about this machine is that my utility room does not get warm and moist when using it. With my old dyer we used to have to keep the utility room door open so that the room wouldn't get damp. It was a lot louder, so I hated having the door open. With this machine we can keep the door closed and the room is absolutely fine. I am delighted with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this tumble dryer from Samsung for product testing purposes. Only used it a few times but so far very impressed. The large door makes loading and unloading easy and the internal light is a nice touch. At present the water outlet is not plumbed in but emptying the water tank is so easy we may continue to run this way. This drier is much better than our old drier and as this one is condensing, we can do away with the extraction system. Many of the items came out ready to be put away without the need for ironing. Soft fabric rather than cardboard! There is a program for virtually all types of clothing and some useful features such as 'silent dry', 'warm air' and 'cold air'. Due to the results we have seen we will use the drier more than we ever used our old drier.

Nakon nekoliko ciklusa sušenja mogu reći da sam prezadovoljan. Mašina je gotovo nečujna u odnosu na prethodnu od drugog proizvođača. AI radi odlično a pogotovo mi se sviđa Auto Cycle Link koji služi za komunikaciju između sušilice i moje Samsung veš mašine gdje na osnovu odabranog programa pranaj veša mašina za sušenje odmah daje preporučeni program za sušenje istog. Takođe potrošnja na osnovu podataka iz Smart Things je vrlo mala (oko 400-500w po ciklusu).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really happy with this dryer. It matches the washing machine, which is also from the series 5+ range.
The dryer is very simple to use, you can either use the dial in the machine or you can use the app to select the cycle with the laundry recipe.
A brilliant feature is it communicates with the wash cycle on the washing machine and will then recommend the drying cycle from this. Basically the washing machine and dryer talk to each other.
The drum has a diamond design, so this keeps the clothing from getting caught/damaged on the drum and there is even a rack for if you'd like to dry trainers, so no noisy clunking with trainers going around.
There is even a light in the drum to make sure you get everything out.
It's also an extremely quiet machine. Especially compared to our old on. It's night and day and at most is a gentle hum that you don't notice.

I received this machine from Samsung for product testing purposes.
I was impressed with the fact that the machine leads you through a user guide when it is first powered on.
At first the choice of programmes was confusing but was quickly reduced to three or four favourites.
The drying programmes are quite a lot longer than previous tumble dryers but I understand that is better for the environment.
There is a Quick dry programme for very light loads.
Emptying the condensed water drawer is quick and easy, so is cleaning the fluff filter.
So far it seems to be a good choice of tumble dryer.

Previously I have reluctant to use tumble dryer due to the cost and shrinkage some items of clothing. However, this machine has totally changed my opinion.
I have used this dryer on an almost daily basis since I received it and have no complaints about it. There are a wide variety of programmes to suit all types of washing. Not only are they geared to the type of the material but also the weight of the load. This means the clothes come out of the machine dry taking the guesswork out of how long the dryer should be set for. If you do wish a specific time there is a programme available to do this. The clothes are dried at a cool temperature which ensures they do not shrink. Though the drying time is longer than other machines I have used it is very economical to run. This was confirmed using an energy monitor.
Very happy with this tumble dryer.

The energy use for this dryer is very low, it means it takes longer to dry but the large capacity allows you to dry more items in a load. It annoys me as it tangles bedding so much. I can’t leave it an entire cycle & come back to perfectly dry washing as I have to pause and unroll several times. I wish it did a proper reverse like my old machine. Cleaning the heat exchanger is a real pain to do. It’s almost impossible to clean fins without damaging and I find it difficult to kneel and bend down due to health condition. Would be better if it came out for washing through to remove fluff.

I only received the tumble dryer on Sunday 19th Sept so have not used all of the available programmes as yet. So far I have found that lighter loads dry quickly and other programmes take around 2 - 3 hours which is similar to my old condenser dryer. The programmes were self explanatory so no need for a manual. The only thing that I have found is that the water reservoir fills up quickly and needs emptied but I am aware that I need to connect the drainage hose which we have not had the time to do so far.
The dryer is very quiet and you actually forget that it is on, also looks stylish

Kupili smo sušilicu prije 10 dana i intenzivno je koristimo. Za sada smo zadovoljni performansama sa izuzetkom Shirts programa sušenja (došlo je do skupljanja rublja). Ostali programi koje smo koristili su odlični i vrijeme sušenja je relativno kratko.

Comme le tambour ne tourne que dans un sens, les draps ressortent complètement entortillés, et forcement pas sec, alors que le plus compliqué à sécher en hiver sont les draps et non les vêtements, qui eux ressortent bien sec et défroissés.

Ce sèche-linge est performant et j'apprécie fortement que mes habits ne rétrécissent pas grâce à la faible température.
Les cycles durent longtemps mais j'imagine que c'est normal compte tenu de la température de séchage.
Par contre il me demande de nettoyer le filtre principal (celui qui est en bas de la machine, derrière une trappe) c'est ce que je fais régulièrement mais maintenant il le demande à chaque lavage !
Comment y remédier ? Y a-t-il quelque-chose que je ne fais pas correctement ? J'ai même passé un coup d'aspirateur ! Surtout qu'on ne peut pas enlever le filtre sur ce sèche-linge (on peut simplement enlever le double filtre dans le tambour) ...

I received this tumble dryer from Samsung for product testing purposes. We received this a week ago and have used on many occassions. This dryer produces a lot less condensation compared to our old condenser dryer, now we do not need to use a extractor fan. It appears to be a lot more energy effiecient when monitoring our smart meter.
The dryer has sensors which detect if clothes are dry and adjusts the time automatically if needed. The smart app lets you know track how long left and provides notifications on completion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed by the performance despite the lackluster review. The main concern of Which was the time to dry, in reality, this is not an issue and the performance is great. The power draw is very low and the tumble dryer is less costly to run than my washing machine. The smart features are better than expected, how smart does a dryer really need to be, but monitoring energy usage is useful in this day and age as it highlights how efficient it is allowing us to make decisions on how much to use it.

great difficulty finding an online manual as a short version came with the machine. Poor instructions on how to change the door there were confusing descriptions of parts and incomplete and incorrect instructions relating to changing the door to the opposite opening. Its the small things that make all the diffrerence. Why does Samsung not do a video on the instructions of how to use and how to change the door over it would make it a 5 star product if they did this.

Je trouve les retours clients tout à fait pertinent concernant ce sèche linge.
J'ai le même avis que ASRCT27, le sèche linge tourne que dans un sens dans l'ensemble des programmes.
-Même avec le programme draps, le sèche linge tourne que dans un sens, ce qui a pour conséquence que les draps ressortent complètement entortillés et forcement pas sec.
-De plus, Ce sèche linge monte très peu en température, il suffit d'ouvrir le hublot en milieu de cycle et de mettre la main à l'intérieur... c'est presque à température ambiante.
Etant un fan inconditionnel de SAMSUNG électroménager, je suis très déçu par ce produit.
Je vais faire appel au délai de rétraction concernant cet article et opter pour un sèche linge Samsung plus onéreux qui j'espère n'aura pas les mêmes défauts que ce dernier.

Grande déception, je trouve que ce sèche linge est décevant. Il ne sèche pas correctement, même avec le cycle long de 3h20 et les capteurs d'humidité, le linge sort toujours humide. Mon ancien sèche linge d'une autre marque sortait le linge parfaitement prêt à ranger en 2h30 max. Par ailleurs la musique de fin dure trop longtemps, le design en soit est bien mais pas intuitif.
Je regrette d'avoir mis ce prix dans un sèche linge pas très efficace.

Este un uscător de rufe minunat,hainele ies perfect uscate din el.
Îl recomand tuturor.
Dacă ar fi sa schimb ceva ar fi faptul ca indiferent de program,uscatorul rotește tamburi in ambele părți 1-2 minute la început,apoi doar intr-un singur sens,ceea ce la rufe nu deranjeaza,însă la lenjerii sau lucruri mari trebuie oprit odata la 10-15 minute pentru ca se fac ca un ghem și nu se usuca.

Ik was er niet helemaal gerust in omdat mijn vorige droogkast (niet van Samsung) eigenlijk niet voldeed. Na verschillende keren een was gedroogd te hebben ben ik zeer aangenaam verrast. Mijn was droogt nu weer zoals het zou moeten en de duur is veel korter dan aangegeven. Ik hoop nog lang te mogen genieten van mijn droogkast. In de toekomst blijf ik bij Samsung.

Très déçue une catastrophe même , cycle non adapté, ne sèche pas correctement obligé de remettre plusieurs fois avant d'avoir le linge sec voir même de changer de cycle exemple coton + minuterie . I have just had this item to replace a faulty Bosch air pump dryer - what a difference! Soo much quieter and just feels a much better piece of kit.Results are so much better - actually fully dry straight away unlike the Bosch
Took a while to connect to WiFi but excellent once you succeed .

Îl folosesc de mai bine de o luna. Usucă foarte bine și are un consum mic de energie.
Dar la ultimele utilizări senzorul de curățare a grilei de caldura indica curățare. Acolo era umed. Am curățat dar senzorul arată mereu ca trebuie curățat. E normal sa fie umed?

Between perfect drying times to consistent drying after having this machine for 6 months I cannot fault it. Cleaning the heat exchanger is about once a month and is so easy to do. I don’t use all of the settings but hopefully will in the future

Déçu par ce sèche linge qui a des temps de programme long et malgré cela le linge reste humide en fin de cycle. Obligé de faire un autre cycle pour obtenir un linge sec. Est-ce dû à la nouvelle technologie de séchage (pompe à chaleur)
