DO NOT BUY THIS REFRIGERATOR! Samsung does not stand being their warranty. My compressor went out this weekend. There is a "digital inverter" that is part of the compressor that is the only part of the refrigerator that is covered by the 10 year warranty. I paid an independent repair person to come out and they advised that the compressor died but did not specifically say it was the digital inverter so Samsung denied my claim without even sending out their own repair person to determine for themselves what the problem was.

This refrigerator is not made to put anything tall in it. I would not recommend this unless you live in an extremely small space. I did not purchase this frig it came with home I purchased. The freezer works great! I just am not impressed with refrigerator. If you use all shelves you can not even put anything in one because there is hardly any space between. It would be great if you are a weekly or daily shopper but not if you shop more than that at one time.

Originally purchased another compact fridge from another company that would not get below 50 degrees even at max settings. Returned that one and bought this one. It reaches a good temperature at only half power. Obviously a much nicer fridge. I really like this fridge. It's not too big for our little kitchen and it works well and quietly. I like the flexibility of being able to turn the top into a fridge. Only downside is that the freezer is bigger than one typically expects in this size, making the fridge smaller. The fridge shelves are a bit short because of this and we can only fit our water filter on the very bottom shelf, which is a bit awkward. However, it's great otherwise. I like the pull out tray for lunch meath and cheese and I also love the fact that the handles are built in and don't stick out and take up more kitchen space.

Looks sharp and modern but not worth the design flaws. -Freezer door cant be opened for a period of time after closing it (Support claims this is normal operation) -Swapping the door opening from L to R is incredibly complicated -Compatible ice maker jams up and moving parts have interference. Had a technician look at it and return it 2 times before finally modifying the part myself. -Fits less food than a comparable sized fridge

This is the first time I have tried a Samsung refrigerator. I have always been pleased with my Samsung products in the past so I thought I would give this a try. There are not very many refrigerators without water dispensers on the front so it made this purchase more favorable. Although I would have like the refrigerator to be slightly bigger, it was reasonably priced. I also am a fan that there is no visible handle.

We had to replace our 8 year old refrigerator unexpectedly. We are planning to redo our kitchen and wanted to wait another year however we had no choice. The refrigerator is extremely quiet, as we live in a one room studio. Plus, the refer cooled to appropriate temperatures for refer and freezer in only two hours. We are on solar and the 3.5 amp refrigerator is perfect for our needs. Even at night, the refer runs off our batteries and the electric company's electric supply has not had to be accessed.
