I wanted to mount my 43" Frame TV centered above the fireplace. My house is old and the stud spacing there is wonky and slightly off-center. Unfortunately from dead center the leftmost stud lands right in between two columns of holes and the rightmost stud lands just outside the rightmost column of holes. If I shift right the TV will be mounted off-center. The 43" Frame TV is 37" wide and probably the smallest TV that shares this mount, I don't know why the mount itself is barely half that width and is so stingy with the hole spacing. I'll either have to make significant modifications to make it work for me or buy a whole new mount. If this weren't a pack-in no one would buy it.

nevermind the red drywall anchors included, which are horrendous, it doesn't include the fliptoggle anchors as shown in instructions. the holes for mounting on studs did not line up with the locations of my studs if i was to keep the tv centered on wall. the most frustrating issue was the included m4l14 screws are not long enough to bite into the recessed mount area of the 65" frame tv and i had to go out and purchase m4l16 to make the mount work. the little white tabs with weird plastic washers are hard to interpret if you leave them or remove them. zero mention of them in any of the instructions. the instructions are merely pictures and with several sets of instructions, they contradict themselves.

I like the design, it makes sense and should be an easy install. The problem is that the manufacturer does not provide the hardware for a drywall installation. Due to the smaller design of the mount, my wall studs do not match the mount's hardware cutouts. When you purchase a product that is made by Samsung for a Samsung product, you expect all the appropriate hardware to be there. If this is a cost-cutting issue with Samsung where else have they cut costs with the items you purchase?

The instructions call for bolts in the pack labeled E for installing on Masonary, it calls for the bolts in packs F & G for drywall, does not include F & G. (Checked with Best Buy installer) The machine bolt in the butterfly anchor it screws into. The missing bolt is special, very flat so it doesn’t interfere with the TV laying flat, just like the one they included for Masonary and wood. Samsung, leaving our parts does not make this an easy install.

completely unbelievable! like many reviews state, i got this with my first-gen frame tv and it's missing toggle bolts for drywall install! by design! it is printed in the instructions for mounting that the hardware is not included! by the look of the hardware in the instructions, it's a very strange and specific type of toggle bolt, no doubt to lie flat for this specific installation. where am i supposed to get these? completely insane

This is the easiest mount on the market to install. Unlike other reviewers comments, the plate that mounts on the wall is wide enough for 16" o/c studs which is industry standard. The other reviewer went on to say that the back panel of the Q-series TV doesn't come off; wrong again. All Q-series Televisions have the removable back panel for mounting this or any other wall mount bracket. In fact the other reviewer goes on to say he returned the no-gap mount and bought a standard one. Well how did you mount the standard one? You have to remove the small mount cover on the back to gain access to the mounting holes. The cover pops off in 2-seconds. Once mounted, the TV only sites about 1/4" proud of the wall which is very nice. It just irritates me when a reviewer doesn't know or understand how something works they give a product a bad review which is unfair to the manufacturer.

Online when checkng comparability the website says it fits the QN55Q8FNBFXZA. Not even close. The TV has no panel on the back to remove that would allow you to install the mount. A waste of time, money and effort. Just went back to my older mount which has the TV close but much farther from the wall. Very disappointing for the misleading advertising.

i was excited after ordering my new 2020 65" q80t qled, and purchased this mount to go with it. pretty shocked that my brand new samsung 2020 tv won't accommodate this mount. it has the old 4 spaced out screws on the back and no removable cover for this mount. major buzz kill! i'm sure it's a great product if it happens to fit your tv.

Wall bracket only spans 12” studs. I have 18” spaces studs. Would it have been so difficult to make it as wide as every other wall mount on the market? My only choice now is to mount a 2x4 brace to my wall (which completely defeats the purpose of the mount). Please tell me Samsung has a response to this huge blunder in design.

I have a 55 first gen frame model which comes with the no gap wall mount! The mount is easier to put on the wall level and center than a regular picture! The TV fits into place as intended (for all truly compatible models) and leaves a perfect fit to the wall.

While "Fair Reviewer" made some good points on wall stud spacing, he/she is incorrect about this fitting ALL QLED TV's. THere is no panel on the back of the Q6 to remove. for all other models, this is great

Easiest tv wall mount installation ever. I have a 2018 55 inch Q7FN and it fits perfect. The other person who left the review probably has the wrong tv because all of the Q line ups backs come off...

How on earth does this WALL MOUNTING kit not include the type of screws needed for WALL MOUNTING for dry wall...which is the most common kind of wall. I don't plan on buying Samsung again.

similar to others' experience, i too had to buy my own drywall anchors to install this mount. not as easy to install as advertised, but once installed, very easy to hang the tv.
