hi, expecting samsung to be leading manufacturer in displays i got this chg70 monitor to support my gaming pc. major issues: 1. i cannot use 144 hz with amd freesync/hdr, it only caps to 100hz. hdr seems to be a hit and miss making the colors/brightness weird/dim respectively. 2. i thought my screen is faulty but seeing other reviews i see it is a major issue across all the monitors. it takes a long times to go to different sources, often times it won't respond. i have attached a video showing the flickering when i changes wallpaper(one of many instances). i hope samsung can escalate this issue and provide proper customer service.

Cela fait maintenant 1 mois que j'ai cet écran. Et ça change tout par rapport à mon Tn 60Hz. Couplé à un RTX2070, aucun soucis en jeux, le freesync fonctionne parfaitement. Aucun problèmes de ghosting, pixels defaillant, fuite de lumière etc. Le produit est sobre, pas de couleurs, pas de rgb (comme certains concurrents) Seuls bémol, le pied qui est trop profond. Mais bon je le savais lors de l'achat. Le cache câble, où les câbles sont un peut étriqués. Et le joystick qui sert également a éteindre l'écran (faut se dépêcher avant que la tour ne s’arrête, sinon vous allez devoir attendre quelques secondes pour pouvoir l'éteindre)

When loading up almost any game games or trying to play games at 1080P the monitor refuses to show anything except a "Not Optimum Mode" logo that bounces around the screen while game audio still plays in the background. I have to force restart my PC.Does not happen on HDMI, just DisplayPort. The screen also flickers a lot when loading up games, changing from dark to light sceens, or pulling up Radeon Overlay. Apparently flickering is not an issue with the 27" model, just the 32" one. I Recommend using HDMI (not DP) and buying the 27" model instead if you are wanting to play games. I do not recommend this 32" model for gaming at all.

Bought this monitor Thonking it would be awesome HDR rich and a step up from the LG I had. Sadly the HDR hasn't worked in game since I got it, even resets won't kick it in gear. The worst is the terrible back lighthot spots. I have seen some pretty consistent monitor back lighting and this is the worst I have ever had ever. I suffer needing to send this back in because I know it'll take 3 weeks at my cost and I'll probably get another lemon. My suggestion is pass on it if your looking for HDR and even backlighting. However if your after very cartoon overwatch graphics use it in SDR with nvidia DV at 55%. Thanks samsung.

Check The great thing about this monitor is this is the only affordable HDR600 certified Freesync 2 monitor on the market. This is the first HDR monitor for me, and I gotta say, it improves the gaming experience so much, that I will never go back. Also, this monitor is one of the few Freesync 2 certified monitors on the market, so games that support Freesync 2 (currently RE2 Remake and Farcry 5), you will have such a great experience.

[Ezt az értékelést promóció részeként kaptuk.] Changed from a notebook to a gaming pc. So many options! I was calobrating for 3 days :D The colors are amazing, the contrast is great most of the times. It has a quite powerful bright ess. ( i use it at 40% brightness) But somtimes when there is a small bright image at the screen, the rest of the monitor (when the rest is supposed to be black) ther are glaring. Like when an IPS monitor stays bright at black screen. I was suprised by this effect on thin VA panel. And interesting fact!: a recieved mine with a fresher firmware update than i can download from here. (like 104.0. or something) If i had an Nvidia Gpu, i would have chisen the odissey. But this is a great value!

Se puede conseguir a buen precio a día de hoy y con las últimas actualizaciones ( la última es la v1023 que se puede obtener ya de la página oficial de Samsung Korea ) se queda un monitor casi perfecto. HDR 600 , Freesync 2 (ahora llamado Premium Pro) , rango 48 a 144hz compatible 100% Gsync , Panel Qled VA curvo, nada de ghosting con las últimas actualizaciones, freesync con HDR perfecto calidad de imagen impresionante, puede parecer poca resolución para 31.5 pero la calidad del panel es tan impresionante que jugando se te olvida . Como fallos solo que a 144hz no se siente tan cómodo el panel, funciona mejor a 120hz , por lo menos con Freesync 2 y las pruebas que he hecho.

Har hatt skjermen i sirka 1mnd nå. Liker VA panel mye bedre enn TN og IPS. Ut av boksen er det litt som må ordnes opp i, men etter kalibrering synes jeg fargene ble meget bra. Innsynsvinkelen er ikke god, men det har ikke noe å si sålenge det skal brukes som en dataskjerm til deg selv, for da sitter du rett foran skjermen. 144 Hz var et must, da jeg skal bruke skjermen til gaming i tillegg. Siden det er et VA panel vil responstiden være litt lavere enn for feks TN panel, men inputlag er veldig lavt på denne skjermen, og derfor føles den veldig rask. For den mest kresne vil det være mulig å spore litt ghosting, men for en vanlig person er det ikke tilstedeværende. En god skjerm, til en god pris!

So this is a gaming monitor. Designed for gaming. And at this price there are going to be compromises. The colour is absolutely fine for gaming hence why I've given it 5 stars. But if you work with colour this is not the monitor for you; I really wouldn't recommend it. I have a minor criticism from an aesthetic point of view (hence 4 star for design). RGB is a real thing these days, for example, my PC is glows green like a nuclear reactor. The blue LED for the power/standby, a white LED for power/standby would've been a neutral choice and work better with any RGB colour scheme.

I bought this last month, I had to return it once because it arrived with a huge crack in the screen. The second one works fine thus far. Performance / usage wise I have no complaints. But external-design wise this thing is awful.The mount is absoluetly massive, it will take up your entire desk for no reason. If you buy this be prepared to shell out additional cash for a aftermarket stand or mount. The power cord is really short, which is compounded by the distance the monitor sits from the stand. The inputs are placed on the bottom of the monitor meaning if you are unable to get behind your monitor it's going to be really hard to plug things in unless you're really good at doing so blindly.

Excellent monitor, brilliant Deep colours with great menu system to customise your preferences. 144hz refresh is a standard with Minimal input and response lag. the only issue I can find is the hdr function is none operational running through windows 10 and in games that are supposed to support it. Games look far more impressive and colours are far more vibrant in a standard definition mode. If you find issues in game with ultimate free sync mode with flickering in game, try enabling vsync in Nvidia or ati display options and disable vsync in game seems to solve flickering issue.

I'm coming from the beast of response time monitors, the Asus VG248QE. I've been playing fast paced FPS games for 18 years now and I can say there is a slight difference in response time compared to the Asus (samsung is slower). It is very small, but it is there. However, I'm not fretting over it too much as the improvement in image quality is astounding and the overall size, with the curved screen, leads to a much improved overall experience. And if I am ever feeling the need for that extra 8ms back I can always switch to the Asus when playing games.

Great monitor, wonderful picture. However, after about a year and a half the monitor begins to exhibit issues waking back up from sleep. The screen will have vertical lines and various artifacts. You can sometimes vaguely see the picture behind the artifacts. Monitor menu using the jog stick is completely non-functional afterwards. Generally 10 or so powercycles will cause the issue to go away. Have checked with support multiple times and no update has addressed the issue. This appears to be a common issue judging from reviews here and elsewhere.

bought this thing a few years back and in all that time they have offered support for the korean model and jack squat for the us model. looks fine in sdr, hdr blows, everything looks washed out, games freak out. only run it in sdr and forget the hdr hype. i am willing to bet the korean one is better since they give attention to it. checked with support and the c32hg70qqk is on 1024 while the us one, c32hg70qqnxza is on the same barely compatible firmware they released when it first came out. don't waste your money until they fix the support.

Looks cool, have a ton of features which may or may not work. The issues i had with it. Loosing signal- billion times. Not while gaming, but on loading screen, or just lauching game. Turning freesync on and off sometimes help but if i buy a monitor for this price i want to use all of it's features. Early on i had an issue if the pc was idle for long enough the monitor lost signal and couldn't make it alive again, just after restarting my PC trough remote desktop. OH BTW the build quality is a very cheap. You can only assemble it in it's original box, and there is a weak part on the back which broke in the second i touched it. HDMI min refresh rate is 100hz, so got to use DP. DP port have even more issues, like lines on the bottom.

to be fair, the product looks great when it works. stunning color, clarity & picture. but the actual quality of the unit is sub-par in my experience. it started flickering ,color banding at the 1 year mark . this was used as a gaming monitor heavily on weekends only, and rarely during the weekdays. then the 'repaired' unit power & mainboard went out after only 7 weeks. this 2nd bad unit was a hassle to get back to me. i endured a long wait, multiple more cs agents, no info etc..yet eventually got a repair/ exchange unit back around mid 2019.... now the unit has blown out again.... # 3 time. after about 1 year again of weekend gaming usage. obviously the parts just can not hold up running at it's advertised 144 hz for very long.

didn't realize this was such a widespread issue. horizontal lines happened to me about 2 years and 2-3 months after i got it, just out of warranty. takes about 20 minutes to warm up and then i can power cycle the monitor to get them to go away, or about 30 minutes if i don't power cycle it. other than that, the hdr is pretty worthless because it only has 8 large dimming zones (4 on each side split down the middle). it's better to just have those dimming zones turned off than to have the unusual dimming in rectangular sections of the screen

Mein Monitor (LC27HG70QQUXEN) hat seit einiger Zeit leider ebenfalls angefangen nach dem Einschalten diese hässlichen streifenförmigen Bildfehler zu produzieren. Es wird nun von Tag zu Tag schlimmer und es dauert jedes Mal länger, bis die Streifen wieder verschwunden sind. Ich fürchte, dass sie eines Tages gar nicht mehr verschwinden. Nach einer Recherche stelle ich fest, dass es sehr viele Beschwerden über genau dieses Phänomen gibt. Dies sind also alles keineswegs Einzelfälle. Ich finde, dass Samsung dazu Stellung beziehen sollte.

i bought two of these monitors in april of 2019 and both of them had the displayport input fail in them multiple times. the first monitor went to the shop 2 times and on the 3rd failure they offered to buy it back from me. i kept one of them because it hadn't had any issues yet... then shortly after it did. i am now on my 3rd attempt to get this fixed and trying to get them to buy it back from me. i can't keep going without a monitor for 2-4 weeks like this over the same issue. there is clearly a flaw in this monitor.

Bonjour Je l'ai acheté et reçu aujourd'hui Un vrai plaisir de jouer dessus, il est impressionnant et tres agreable. Produit de qualité, j'etais sur deja sur un ecran haut de gamme mais une dalle TN, mais une dalle VA fait vraiment la difference. Le HDR sur BF5 avec le fov a fond, c est comme si on etait sur le champ de bataille. C'est vraiment IMPRESSIONNANT ! Seul bemol je trouve, et rien de certain, mais je me demande si le pied ne se fatiguerait pas un peu vite apres un certain nombre de manipulations.

Para quien no le importe tener alguna que otra fuga o clouding, el monitor es bestial. Tanto en colores, como brillo es de lo mejor que he probado hasta ahora. No hay muchos monitores con más de 8bits, quadHD y menos aún siendo QLED. Fueron 3 los monitores que probé de éste modelo exactamente... un monitor gaming de éste precio no debería tener ninguna fuga de luz... y todos ellos tuvieron... No le veo sentido tener una tecnología y un panel mejor preparado para los negros que otros monitores... y que luego se vean esas fugas estropeando cualquier juego de terror, películas, zonas oscuras en shooters... Creo que se debería controlar mejor ésto desde calidad. Si hubiera encontrado uno de ellos sin fugas, no lo habría devuelto. Para mi era el mejor monitor hasta la fecha.

The display began showing horizontal lines completely obscuring the lower 20% of the monitor less than a year after purchase. Currently the problem has expanded such that horizontal lines occlude the left side of the screen as well. This problem persists for probably 10-15 minutes after turning the monitor on each day and continues to get worse as time progresses. When it works it is very good. I hope I will be able to get the monitor back from warranty repair but that has been a very difficult process so far.

this monitor has serious problem with the led. this has been happening since the first month i got it but i was too lazy to return it since i bought it with a company subsidy for moving work to home during the pandemic. it has a static led appearance when first booting up and takes 5-10 minutes to disappear. after that, the monitor is amazing. but i absolutely hate that it takes so long to actually be functional. its so hard to get the menu to pop up using the button on the back of the monitor. even after owning this for over a year, i dont know if i need to double click, long press, single click, to pull up the ui to change settings and sources. i have tried everything to fix this issue with the led. i have tried completely new cables, resetting the device to factory defaults.

Ein Anfangs toller Monitor mit guten Features. Die Displaysettings selbst sind gut einzustellen und der Monitorfuß bietet auch alle Freiheiten. Leider habe ich wie einige andere Kunden ebenfalls mit Problemen zu kämpfen, sobald der Monitor aus dem Standby kommt. Dann muss ich mehrere Minuten lang mit Bildfehlern auskommen. Das Ausmaß der Fehler wurde über die Zeit deutlich schlimmer. Anschließend ist der Monitor zwar zu benutzen, doch kann das ja nicht der Anspruch an einen Monitor sein.

An sich von den Eigenschaften her ein schöner Monitor. 32 Zoll, Hell, 1440p und 144Hz. Aber: Probleme begannen insgesamt schon kurz vor Garantieablauf. Wenn der Monitor länger aus war gab es beim Start schwere Fehler im Bild die dann nach 1 bis 2 Minuten weg waren. Nun nach 3 Wochen Auszeit (wegen Urlaub) ist er vollends kaputt. Panel Defekt, keine Hoffnung auf Reparatur. Natürlich auch kurz nach Ende der Garantie (Garantie: 24 Monate, Kaputt nach 32 Monaten). Mein Samsung TV den ich als Ersatz habe macht jetzt plötzlich auch Probleme, indem er sich immer wieder ein und ausschaltet. Werkreset geht nicht weil die Option fehlt. Sicher muss ein neuer Monitor ran aber bestimmt keiner von Samsung! Handys, Kühlschränke mag alles toll sein aber bei TVs/Monitoren scheint Samsung zwei linke Hände zu haben.

i have had this monitor for a total of 3 days. it is beautiful when it works, but like so many others mine suddenly got distorted and filled with lines. i have used it for probably 3-4 hours total in this time. unlike others, mine does not get fixed when its “warmed up”, and power cycling has done nothing to fix the issue. i purchased this monitor over countless others because of the reliability i assiciated with the samsung brand. unfortunately my trust in the brand is now gone.

I originallly bought this monitor about two weeks ago and right out the box it had dead pixels. I requested a return. And went ahead and order another one thinking it would be in complete satisfactory working condition for the price you pay. But I’ll have to say that was not the case. When the second monitor arrived, I tried setting it up and low and behold, more dead pixels and would only allow 720p. I will be returning this monitor too. I don’t plan on purchasing another one.

I wouldn't buy it again. Not surprised to see the reviews plummet since time of purchase. I haven't had many of the major image distortion issues others have had, but a pixel died immediately and large patches of light creep in at the edges even when a black screen is being displayed. This makes the HDR feature, which leaves much to be desired even without this issue, pointless. Also 1 pixel in the middle of the display stuck on red almost immediately, which is frustrating.

I bought this monitor a little over a year ago, and it's been an exercise in frustration. From day 1 it had horizontal lines or static intermittently strewn across the screen or as the entire screen. I found that if I use HDMI instead of a Display connector that it lessened the issue, and I was very hesitant to send it in to samsung for repair, be out a monitor for a month, and potentially have them send it back still broken because it "seemed fine" for them. I've used two other monitors using the same ports in my GTX 1080 video card with no issue. The major problem is the issue has just gotten worse over time, and it's now showing lines every single time my computer comes out of sleep for a while before they seem to go away. I feel like I spent $650 on a monitor I'll only be able to use a little while longer.

Ich habe leider seit Anfang an genau das selbe Problem mit den horizontalen Streifen. Der Bildschirm lässt sich einschalten, bekommt die Streifen, dann muss man ca. 1-3 Minuten warten und in der Regel funktionierts dann wieder. Manchmal muss man aber leider doch den PC öfters neustarten, wirkt so als hätte der HDMI/DP Anschluss einen Fehler. Ansonsten find ich den Monitor echt klasse! Schade das bei mir die Garantie ausgelaufen ist und ich es nicht früher gepostet habe.

Bel écran.. dommage qu'il ne soit pas vraiment en 4K UHD... Il manque également la technologie de upscalling (Technologie de mise à l'échelle)... un mix de cette écran avec le U32J590UQU me satisferait pleinement, surtout si je veux pouvoir l'exploiter convenablement ces 10 prochaines années... la 2K est mort dans l'oeuf.. la 8K arrive cette année... ainsi que les nouvelles cartes Nvidia ^^ Sinon, un point en plus pour le FreeSync2 et le pivot :)

It supports xbox 4k, 1440, 1080, and 720 resolution. Yes I know this is not a 4k monitor, but I am able to select 4k on the xbox. This monitor would be perfect if the monitor and xbox would work better together. By this I mean you have to play around with the settings to get the monitor and the xbox to 120 Hz. I played on my LG oled tv (great picture quality, but bad for gaming battle royal games) but this monitor is my favorite way to play now.

I tried this monitor for 2 weeks and it's amazing within performance and quality. The only thing holding me from buy it is that is not g-sync capable, but hopefully the new version CHG75 is about to come out anytime soon, hurry up Samsung. What I have notice is that for gaming after 27 inch the monitors have to be curved otherwise the eyes get fatigue very quick rolling all other the screen, this model accomplished all in one package.

I bought this monitor for Christmas. I had read all of the dead pixel reviews and knew mine would be perfect because almost every piece of electronics my family owns is Samsung. Five days in, two pixels that will turn white, grey, red, yellow, but when black lands on them they turn BRIGHT red. I'll call Samsung but based on the reviews there won't be anything I can do. I bought this monitor nearly 3 years ago and until the 2 year mark, never had an issue. This monitor was NEVER turned off. Im disabled and game about 6 hours a day plus I do research that includes a LOT of video. Color is awesome, longevity is good and the 144hz means no flicker (unless other end of the connection is meh) My ISP has been 150-350Mbps so if the image is bad it has been because of the other end of the connection, not the monitor or my equipment. I run an MSI board with and I7 7700k CPU and twin 1080GTX cards. I've never had this quality of image with any other monitor. The issue after 2years is that the bottom of the monitor is showing fluctuating lines about a half inch high making the start bar unviewable for the first minute of boot up. Even with that being an issue, it didnt occur for 2 years of 24/7/365 of being on. it even went thru 2 moves without a hiccup.

Grundsätzlich ein sehr guter Monitor, aber auch bei mir tauchen seit einiger Zeit die Streifen auf. ich muss dann immer die Bildwiederhol frequenz umstellen damit ich uberhaupt ein bild bekomme. Die FreeSyncEinstellung funktioniert garnicht mehr. Habe aktuell die Grafikkarte von einer 3070 ti zu einer 5070 ti gewechselt, hat sich aber nichts geändert so das es auf jeden fall am Monitor liegt.

Colors pop better than any other monitor I have ever seen. The contrast is great. 144 Hz refresh rate makes a big difference over 60 Hz panels in how smooth game play is. NO dead/stuck pixels. This monitor will get brighter than any other monitor I have ever owned. Text is sharp and easy to read. I have only had this for two days but so far I am very pleased with this purchase.

He de decir que estoy entusiasmado con este monitor, debido a que posee un puerto displayport a 1.4 he conseguido que soporte la resolución a 4k a 120hz a través del panel de nvidia. Eso quiero decir que por antiguedad sería de los primeros monitores en aceptar esta resolución y que cumple con HBR3. Adjunto fotografías. Y por supuesto, que se lo recomiendo a todo el mundo!!!

about 10 months after purchase i got the vertical lines that are pictured in other reviews. i had to wait to contact costumer support and work at home with the lines for a few months. low and behold my warranty ran out. i will not be purchasing from samsung again. they need to stand behind their product and make one that lasts at least a year if not multiple years.

Ni penseis en comprar este modelo. Si lo subes de 100HZ se hace imposible utilizarlo, la pantalla de llena de lineas horizontales y podeis estar mas de 30 minutos esperando a que desaparezca. Samsung ni se digna a responder ante esto. Es lamentable. Y el HDR en Windows es infumable. Si lo activas es como ver todo con un filtro sepia activado. Vaya ESTAFA de monitor.

Samsung LC32HG70QQUXEN - The monitor was fine for a while but then I've been having issues like many have reported in the reviews listed here. Attached images of the problem, but essentially when the monitor is "cold" eg after being off overnight, the bottom section of the display is broken until it "warms up". Disgusting quality control for a premium product.

this monitor has been perfect for gaming and working from home with a little bit of an issue in the last few months. when i start the monitor it often has lines at least along the bottom. sometimes across the whole screen and it takes little time to go away. this is frustrating but once it goes away it performs really well. maybe i got an unfortunate monitor?

Cet écran est de bonne qualité, seul problème, impossible d'activer en même temps le mode " Temps de réponse très bas " avec le mode "HDR". Ce qui oblige a rester en mode "Temps de réponse normal". Ça n'est précisé nul part sur la fiche technique, du coup la dalle n'est pas de 1MS en mode "HDR ON" mais de plus. Autrement RAS, le rendus est vraiment pas mal.

hab ebenfalls das Problem mit den horizontalen Streifen. Anfänglich unten nur 2-3cm, kann es jetzt auch mal ~20cm hoch sein. Wird eher schlechter als besser. Das gute ist, die verschinden immer nach einigen Minuten. Trotzdem nervig. Kabeltausch, reset, Update brachte alles keine Besserung. Die Streifen bleiben auch, wenn garkein PC angesteckt ist.

I got this yesterday and followed a youtube setup to dial it in and all I can is wow. The HDR is a game changer. On my 4K TV that I use to play on I would encounter dark shadows and extremely dark rooms inside of buildings. Not anymore. I'm able to see in rooms and peek into buildings so easily now. Must have for serious or even weekend warriors

Its been probably nearly 10 years since I bought my last Samsung monitor, and this monitor makes me remember why I pay a bit extra for this brand. This thing is nothing short of excellent. I had a friend over to play a bit with Assassins Creed Odyssey, and he was stunned that it was only 2k. The level of detail in games is incredible.

Une semaine que je décortique les qualités de ce Moniteur et il n y a pas grand chose à lui reprocher , couleur , contraste , fluidité et ergonomie ... Un reproche cependant à ses fuites de lumière visible dans les Phases sombre mais ça reste acceptable si vous n'êtes pas trop pointilleux . Autre défaut son pied beaucoup trop grand .

i have two of these monitors, it keeps broken once a year, last time samsung returned it with scratches and marks. they are not satisfied in making bad quality products, but also in charging a lot of money to get them fixed. this warranty is fake, it never worked for me, i had to pay every time, and now they send me a dented product.

I have the 32 one, and for me it only one thing after 27 eyes strains faster, but th emonitor has a lot of setting that can help to set all you need. I got horizontal line often when monitor wake up in a rainy or cold day but it fade out after couple minutes to warming up. But 5 years pass, I got the same as everyone. The dead vertical line. I upgaded from the CFG70 27" to the CHG70 32" for the added size, QLED, and HDR support on my Racing Cockpit. The HDR picture is absolutely breathtaking! To see the asphalt texture while racing at 180+mph puts this monitor through its paces. Perfect for creating detailed Liveries in Livery Editor mode in Gran Turismo Sport.

Fikk skjermen for et par dager siden, og var egentlig utrolig fornøyd. Helt til jeg lot pc'n stå på i ett par timer uten bruk, som resulterte i at skjermen gikk i en slags søvnmodus. There is a green line which has appeared which I think are dead pixels also the display port is faulty and doesn't receive the connection sufficiently. I have photos and videos of both. I just received this yesterday, so my experience is somewhat limited. This monitor is huge! I'm upgrading from a 23" Samsung from several years ago, and the size difference is much more than I expected. The picture is very good, although it takes some tweaking. The out of the box settings provided an extremely bright image that hurt my eyes. Turning the "Response Time" setting to Faster or Fastest helps a lot with the screen brightness. The image is great, and I'm enjoying the extra screen real estate from the higher resolution. My biggest problem with this monitor is the stand. The stand takes up a massive amount of space on my desk, and extends several inches behind the monitor, so I can't put the monitor flush against the wall. This is more than just a space problem, it also means that I'm sitting too close to my monitor now. Samsung needs to ship this with a low-profile stand that takes up an inch of space or less behind it, otherwise why am I even buying a flat panel monitor?

Roughly 7 months after purchase the monitors started showing lots of stripes across the screen -- same issue as all the other negative reviews. If you keep the monitor on, the stripes will eventually disappear. This is not hte quality I expected. Would not recommend buying this product.

Alleen freesync 1 support op dit model. 80-120hz als freesync aanstaat... 144hz is misleiding. HDR werkt niet op windows 10. Kleuren zijn best wel goed. Dat is zowat het enige positieve punt. Mijn toestel is al opweg naar de verkoper. Meer betalen in EU en minder krijgen ben ik beu.

I have historically been a Viewsonic guy, but this thing has pretty much won me over. The features are fantastic: love the refresh rate, the response time, the color and picture settings...especially the Black Equalizer....it works wonders in certain movies i watch on this thing. Been Using this monitor for more than a year and I still works great....but a few things I'd like to see....love the curved feature. The simplest thing I'd want, a better stand. Its very deep and takes up alot of desk space, would like to see it corrected to take up less space but still have the usual height, tilt and rotate features. What I'd really love to see is a version of this very same monitor (with perhaps some updates if available), but in 21:9 format. I'm really looking for a 21:9 3440x1440p curved monitor and if there was one made on this same type of setup, Id buy it pretty quick. I'd really like one in about 35" in size at least, which is about perfect....any smaller and it doesnt make much sense.

Brought this not long after release and started getting the image problems others have reported. Got a warranty repair but it's started again on the new panel. It's now out of warranty. A good feature packed monitor with terrible quality control. And the stand is far too deep.

Everything was nice, even the box, but when I started it up there was a group of dead pixels. I think a company as big as samsung should take more care in the quality testing before they ship out. I am getting a replacement and hoping this doesnt happen again.

Eigentlich ein guter Monitor, aber leider trat kurz nach Ende der Garantie zusätzlich zum häufigen "Aufwärmeffekt" (Bildfehler in den ersten paar Sekunden nach dem Start) auch noch ein Fehler in der Hintergrundbeleuchtung auf. Daher nicht zu empfehlen.

I've been using this monitor for a couple months now, so I feel I can give an honest review. The colors are a little more muted than I expected. I expected the colors to be very bright with a high contrast, similar to other gaming monitors, but I find them to be a little more muted, meaning maybe slightly faded looking? This could be seen as a good thing though, as the screen isn't so bright to hurt your eyes after hours of gaming. I was a bit hesitant about the curved screen, as I've never used a curved screen for gaming, but I'll say I find the curve to make the gaming experience more immersive. It's as if you're closer without being physically closer. The colors and brightness I mentioned are miniscule with respect to this monitor as a whole. The picture is crystal clear, and I have zero problems with refresh rate. I look forward to gaming even more when using this screen, and the setup looks very professional. The ONLY thing I wish this screen had that I've seen on other screens is the option to add a hip fire dot in the center.

So I just updated my old LG 22 inch monitor to this beast and I am absolutely loving it. I can play for hours and my eyes don't get tired, all the features stunning and the speed with 244 hz refresh rate is great. I can recommend this device for sure.

Basically a great but monitor, but I got the same problem like many others here: horizontal lines on the bottom of the screen until the monitor gets warmed up. Really sucks as this happen just after the warranty has expired.

The monitor is great, but I would like a patch that addresses the issue of freesync not supporting 120hz. I use the monitor to play my Xbox one x but I have to turn freesync off to play at 1440p 120 hz on my Xbox.

Kupiłem monitor bo QLED i czarny bardziej czarniejszy niż w innych monitorach w normalnych cenach. Pechowo moja matryca od nowości 1 martwy piksel. Dziwne miałęm już chyba z 7 monitorów LG i kiedyś taki model Samsung 215TW i byłem mega zadowolony żadnych martwych piksli, a tu pech całe szczęście że przy krawędzi więc mówię OK przeżyje. Freesync 2 z 144Hz super i monitor działa na karcie zielonych wykrywa go jak o GSync i śmiga jak ta lala duży plus, HDR nie wyobrażam sobie już grania bez HDR, trafiła mi się matryca przyzwoita bez jakiś plam złych podświetleń, dziwnych zółci jak to pisali ludzie, ale jest jedna przypadłość która możę spowodować, że pozbędę się tego monitora na odcieniach koloru niebieskiego matryca ma dziwny przeplot ledwo widoczny ale jest jak by rozdzielczość to nie 1440p tylko 1440i, a to trochę śmiech i czemu tylko na odcieniach niebieskiego. Chyba że Samsung coś zrobi z firmware żeby to poprawić choć nie wydaje mi się...... chyba oddam na gwarancji podając powód że w specyfikacji jest rozdzielczość 1440p, a nie 1440i ( z przeplotem) - też kupiłem w Komputroniku.

Der Monitor weißt nach nur 1,5 Jahren Nutzung nach dem Einschalten überall horizontale Streifen auf. Ich bin nicht der Einzige mit diesem Problem, eine Stellungnahme von Samsung steht bis heute aus.

Monitor posiadam od 12 miesięcy i sprawuje się świetnie. Kolory są bardzo żywe gdzie czarne jest czarne, białe jest białe a krew moich przeciwników wyjątkowo czerwona. Świetnie działa funkcja Freesync z kartami Nvidia. Nie za bardzo działa HDR z Windows bo przez Microsoft jest nie dopracowany. Z grami tak samo raz działa raz nie, wszystko przez nie dopracowanie przez producentów. W filmach OK tylko zabawa w przełączanie całego systemu Win. na On HDR to strata czasu. Lepiej skorzystać z przycisku szybkiej konfiguracji do którego przypiszemy sobie własne preferencje. I tu jest wielki plus bo mamy takich guzików 3 i do różnych gier i ich wymagań możemy je skonfigurować. Ogólnie jestem bardzo zadowolony z zakupu bo jakość obrazu jest lepsza niż u innych producentów robiących monitory dla graczy. Dla laików też dodam że opcja 144Hz przy jego rozdzielczości natywnej wymaga bardzo mocnego sprzętu min i7 i RTX 2080 przy ustawieniach Bardzo Wysokich A dla niektórych gier opcja Ultra wymaga dwóch kart. Przy zmianie rozdzielczości na FHD z i7 RTX 2080 możemy grać i 200Hz w Ultra. Polecam wszystkim graczom i nie tylko.

Hello all, The main source of my digital entertainment comes from my Xbox One X. In July of 2017, I bought the new Samsung 32" CHG70 Gaming Monitor with Quantum Dot and at the time an Xbox One S. I dont know if the monitor has always been like this but one day while watching a TV show on Netflix, I noticed the screen lighting was very dark but I didnt know if it was always like that or if it had just happened before my eyes. I went into the settings and upon doing so the screen turned off for a second (which I think is for the HDR to deactivate) and then the lighting was back to normal and looked normal. When you go into an app or game thats supports HDR, the TV recognizes it, activates HDR and then BOOM, dimmed screen. So I go into settings, turn off "Allow HDR". Lighting is fixed across all games and apps but then there is no HDR. Side Note: Sometimes in that second of the screen flickering on/off to activate the HDR, there is a split second where the lighting is normal, the HDR is activated, it looks so perfect and so Vibrant and then it goes all dark. Also I now have an Xbox One X and these problems still occur. Is my monitor defective?
