[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this monitor! Curvature is great. Good ergonomics especially height adjustable. Very stable design and THANK YOU for making the stand metal and FLAT. It's easy to sit stuff right below it. Mine is the white case which is a nice soft color. The kvm switch is great, the only problem I have is my 4K webcam won't switch over to the USB-B output to the downstream HDMI/DP devices, it's monopolized by the Thunderbolt connection or if I connect it down the USB-B the device connected via TB can't use it. However, the rest of my myriad inputs work fine via USB and can switch via the kvm. I wish the resolution was a tad higher, but at this price point this is great. And the anti-reflection screen works very well. I loathe shiny screens so this VA panel had great contrast and I have no problems seeing it because of the tight 1000R curvature. Got mine for a steal on sale. Highly recommend!

I purchased two of these monitors a little over a year ago and had been quite pleased with them. However, after about 15 months, one of the two has developed 2 dead pixels and the other a single dead pixel. I'm usually quite happy with Samsung's quality, but these are the first monitors I've ever had that randomly had pixels die over time - especially such a short time.

This later version is less nicer in terms of the exterior design. Compared to the size and price, I think it could have had better look. The 100hz refresh rate actually looks like 100hz, and on a VA panel, this is impressive. It handles all my open windows well too as I hoped for, so that’s great. A gorgeous 3,440 x 1,440 Resolution with a 1000R immersive Curved Screen. With 1 billion colors and HDR10 it will pop of the screen. It has 2 Built-In 5w Speakers. For us multitaskers The S6 features a Built-In KVM Switch. One keyboard and one mouse is all we need for multiple sources. It has a wide 21:9 Aspect Ratio with a blazing 100Hz Refresh Rate. I love the gaming performance with a 5ms (GTG) Response Time and AMD FreeSync Gaming on my pc and game consoles is a joy. Especially in picture by picture mode. I spend many hours a day in front of a screen and I take eye health very seriously. And it's great to know Samsung does also and provides us a TUV Certified Intelligent Eye Care monitor. I wish it had a few extra ports but it has everything needed 1 USB-C Port1 LAN Port1 HDMI1 USB 3.0 Hub. I really feel like this monitor hits on all basis. If you Game go to school or run a business it is a great monitor for everyone. Especially when you consider all the great specs and features that you get at this price point. Tie that in with a easy setup process. A stand that can position your monitor is many different positions without the headache of extra tools. We definitely have a winner here. I highly recommend this monitor. It's fun to use . It has a excellent build quality.

But seeing the view quality of this monitor reiterated for me that everything happens for a reason :-). The crystal clear picture from any angle, the graphics & color quality are fantastic & the curved screen is a nice upgrade I didn't think about until I got this. You can see everything perfectly from varied distances which is appreciated when I'm multitasking. Ich bin zufrieden. Ein guter Standardmonitor. Prei-Leistung passt. Ist ganz ähnlich zu meinem vorherigen Samsung Monitor. Der Monitorfuß ist für mich passend. Sockel ganz flach, so dass man Dinge darauf ablegen kann. Alle Kabel werden außerhalb am Fuß vorbei geführt. Nicht sehr schick, aber praktisch. Höhe kann für mich ausreichend verstellt werden. Ebenso ist der Bildschirm nach oben, unten , links, rechts verstellbar. Die Bedienungstasten sind mittig unter dem Monitor platziert. Absolut unergonomisch. Man muss die Handfläche nach oben drehen. Eben mal eine Taste drücken, ist okay, aber durch das Menü gehen, da tut die Hand weh. Dem Sound fehlt der Bass. Ich habe ja keine Ansprüche, aber ganz ohne Bass fehlt etwas. Sprache hören, ist okay. Musik oder Spiele sind nicht schön. Der USB-C Anschluss erlaubt es den Notebook nur über ein einziges Kabel an den Monitor anzuschließen. Darüber funktioniert alles: Bildschirm, Tastatur, Maus, Headset, LAN, Power. Ja, darüber wird auch der Notebook geladen (wenn das Gerät es unterstützt). Separates Netzteil für den Notebook wird nicht benötigt. Das Besondere: mit dem Umschalten des Bildes von einem Rechner zum anderen wird auch USB umgeschaltet. Ist genial. Man hat alle Geräte wie Tastatur, Maus und Headset am Monitor angeschlossen und kann dann ohne Umstöpseln beide Rechner bedienen. Ist wie eine Dockingstation, an der man zwei Rechner anschließen kann. Auch wenn man am Monitor drei Rechner anschließen kann, die USB-Umschaltung funktioniert nur mit zwei Rechner. Schade. Der Monitor hat eine eingebaute Netzwerkkarte und man kann daran LAN anschließen. Super habe ich gedacht. Dann sind beide Rechner mit LAN verbunden. WLAN braucht man nicht. Aber der Monitor hat nur eine Netzwerkkarte. Diese ist entweder mit dem einem oder mit dem anderen Rechner verbunden. Gleichzeit ist nicht. Der eine Rechner verliert seine Netzwerkverbindung, wenn man den Monitor auf den anderen Rechner umschaltet. Das ist unbrauchbar, wenn man beide Rechner gleichzeitig betreibt. Ein laufender Download wird unterbrochen. Eine VPN-Verbindung geht verloren. Es werden keine E-Mails empfangen. Ein Anruf kommt nicht an. Ich habe das LAN-Kabel wieder entfernt. Ich wollte eigentlich eine anderen Monitor, aber dieser hat eine entspiegelte Oberfläche. Eigentlich gut, aber die Schrift soll leicht unscharf sein. Da ich mit dem Monitor nicht nur spiele, sondern auch im Home-Office 8 Stunden daran arbeite, haben ich mich für den Samsung Monitor entschieden. Schrift gestochen scharf. Ein Stern Abzug, wegen unergonomischen Tasten, fehlendem Bass und dem LAN-Problem.

The crisp colors and eye care options allow me to use it for long periods without eye fatigue. The connectivity options come in very handy as one thunderbolt wire charges, connects Ethernet and screen to the monitor which helps minimize wire clutter for a clean desktop. The speakers produce good sound that is crisp. It's also lightweight and easy to adjust to different heights and angles when needed. My experience with this monitor is a mix bag of incremental joy as the time goes by. Honestly I am not going back to anything less than the standard it is setting for me day by day. It took me sometime to get used it. When I was at the store I wasnt sure if I should get this one or not, but pulled the trigger because of the price point and fearures. I use it for streaming, gaming, and editing videos in Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, and it’s been a total game-changer. The 1000R curve pulls me right into the infinity of whatever I’m working on or watching. and the ultra-wide QHD resolution makes multitasking so much easier. I can have multiple windows open side by side without feeling cramped—perfect for video editing. Plus, the color accuracy is on point, which is a must when working on footage. Gaming is super smooth thanks to the 100Hz refresh rate, and even after hours of editing or binge-watching, my eyes don’t feel strained like they used to. It’s honestly the perfect balance of work and play, and for the price, it’s a steal. I appriciate this monitor everyday a little more often after watching films and gaming session. Highly recommend!
