I couldn't understand why the WiFi on my Tab S8 tablet randomly dropped out but it never happened with my S20 5G phone. I eventually solved the problem by setting the router to always use the same IP address with my Tab S8. The fingerprint sensor on the side button is sometimes a problem when using the Samsung book cover because you can't seem to place your finger on the button properly that's why I only gave it 4 stars. The Tab S8 has a great screen which scrolls smooth and fast although I still prefer the 4:3 screen ratio and Amoled display on my old Tab S3. The sound output quality is excellent with plenty of volume.

I don't love anything about this device. It is far too heavy to be a portable device. To switch off requires pressing the on switch together with a volume control - why? And this isnt easy as it sounds as you have to press them both at the same time. What is wrong with just having a simple on/off switch? So it just sits on my desk and eventually it runs out of battery, which means next time I use it I have to charge it. - horrible concept.

Although it is possible to choose to either turn off or restart your device by pressing and holding at the same time and for a second the Power and Volume Down buttons on the side of the tablet, you can still turn it off by accessing the Quick Settings Menu: swipe down from the top of the screen > Tap the Power icon in the upper-right of the screen (next to the Settings icon), and then tap Power off. Alternatively, Bixby can also help you turn off your tablet. You just need to set up Bixby Voice > After Bixby Voice has been set up, press and hold the Side key, and then say, "Turn off the tablet." Absolutely love it, I've had my old Samsung tablet for years just kept going on with as it was getting slower and slower it finally gave up on me right in the middle of doing my training for work, so frustrating so I brought this beautiful new reconditioned Samsung tablet, it's amazing, never realised what I was missing out on! I love Samsung items, I would never buy anything else and again I'm not disappointed. Just want to say a Big thank you, I'm more than pleased

Gone faulty and now on its 3rd repair. Repaired 1st time and went faulty again a few hours later. 2nd time i was informed it wasn’t faulty it was my issue.. I called up and requested a repair which it was discovered it was faulty and waiting parts and I’m waiting for its return… skeptical regarding the repairs process and quality control. The tablet has been away for all in nearly 1 month now.

I think I made a mistake I thought I would be able to put in a data sim card but no it won't except one only a SD card Which is disappointing as I had a Galaxy S6 before this tablet and it was super when we were away in the caravan. I will be able to link this tablet to my phone and use the data from my phone but not ideal but the tablet it's self is fabulous just a shame can't use a data sim.
I recommended this product.

This is by far the most useful tool 1 have purchased. The palm rejection is excellent. I really like to TAB S8 size and performance too. I mostly use the TABS8 for notes, streaming, shopping. The screen is excellent, even if it's not like the S8 plus or Ultra. Massively impressed with the deal samsung offered this year. I'm Android for life even if it can be quirky sometimes.

Fantastic tablet. Really glad I sold my iPad Pro to get the Tab S8. It works great as a tablet and as a desktop computer replacement with Samsung DEX plugged into a monitor, keyboard and mouse. Lots of settings to play with so I can use the Tab the way I want to and great accessibility features. A fantastic tablet I highly recommend it.

The tablets works very fast and responsive and is very useful, however I not able to connect my s pen to my s8 even though it works fine, I can't use air actions since it shows me that the s pen is disconnected fr9m the tablet even though it is attached to be magnetic slots beside the camera

It appears to prevent me from switching off without first closing everything that I have opened, which I have sometimes forgotten to do in the pasr. I think that's a great aid to security.
