What is Samsung Pass and how do I use it?

Samsung Pass allows you to use your saved biometric information (fingerprint, iris, or face recognition) to log into accounts, apps and websites.

You can also add in personal information such as your address and card information so you can populate this quickly and more easily. Please note that biometric data and personal information are saved to your device only, and do not sync to other devices.

You can find your Samsung Pass settings by going to Settings > Biometrics and Security > Samsung Pass > Menu (three dots at the top right corner) > Settings

Be aware that the type of biometrics and whether you can use it throughout the app will depend on the app itself. Some apps may only permit biometric logins to do certain things. For example, you may be able to use your fingerprint to log into a shopping app but prompted to enter your password when you need to pay.

You can manage your saved data (passwords, login info, website and apps using Samsung Pass, auto-fill info) by going to Settings > Biometrics and security > Samsung Pass and then selecting either Autofill forms or Sign-in from the two tabs at the bottom of the screen.
