Customized for Galaxy devices, the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy enables a fast experience, powering Galaxy S26 Ultra with the most powerful 3 nm processor yet. To fit the AI era, improvements to the GPU and NPU speed up agent collaboration, as well as gaming. Galaxy's unique IPs are also implemented into the processor, which include ProScaler and mobile Digital Natural Image engine (mDNIe) for greater processing efficiency that helps preserve battery life without compromising the view.^7,8

Galaxy smartphones come with unique hardware to help keep things cool when you're pushing your limits. Galaxy S26's Vapor Chamber has an increased surface area, while Galaxy S26 Ultra includes a new multi-channel structure — both helping to dissipate heat more effectively.
