  • 1. What is Samsung Care+ and why should I purchase it?

    Samsung Care+ brings together a range of benefits that are meant to safeguard your device against any accidental, physical or liquid damage, technical or mechanical failure. There are four packs custom created for your smartphone. You could pick one of these packs.

    • Extended warranty – 1 Yr.
    • Screen only Protection – 1 Yr.
    • Accidental & liquid damage Protection – 1 Yr.
    • Comprehensive Protection (ADLD + Warranty) – 2 Yrs.
  • Samsung Care+ now covers select range of Samsung Smartphones, Tablets, Laptops and Wearables.
  • Extended warranty extends the warranty of your Samsung

    Smartphones, Tablets, Laptops & Wearables by respective additional years. With this plan, you would be able to enjoy the same services offered during the warranty for an additional year. All technical and mechanical failure of the device will be covered under this plan.

    Screen only Protection covers the damage to the front screen of your device. With this plan, you are covered for any damage to the front screen for one year from the plan purchase date. (Multiple screens* covered only for Foldable devices. T&C Apply)

    Accidental & liquid damage Protection, as the name suggests, it covers the complete device from any kind of accidental damage or liquid damage. This plan covers any physical or liquid damage to your device for one year from the plan purchase date.

    Comprehensive Protection Plan gives you complete peace of mind for 2 years where we protect your device against any accidental, physical or liquid damage, technical or mechanical failure.
  • You can buy Samsung Care+ packs from any of Samsung Experience Stores, Smart Cafes, select Multi Brand Outlets, Samsung online shop, Samsung Authorized Service Centres, My Galaxy app or Samsung Members app on your Samsung smartphone.
  • Extended Warranty Plans can be bought up to 180 days from the device purchase, applicable for Smartphones, and up to 3 days from the device purchase applicable for Tablets, Laptops and Wearables.

    Accidental Damage and Liquid Damage Protection (ADLD), Screen Protection & Comprehensive Protection Plans can be bought up to 3 days of your device purchase, applicable for Smartphones, Tablets, Laptops and Wearables respectively as per the available plans.

    Please note that ADLD, Screen Protection & Comprehensive Protection plans can be bought for Smartphones (except Foldables) after successful diagnostics if purchased after 3 days and before 30 days of device activation.
  • Samsung Care+ plans are auto activated as soon as you purchase the pack or receive the device. You will receive a mail with a policy certificate which is a proof of your activation.
  • No, for one IMEI/Serial number, only one Samsung Care+ pack can be bought throughout the life of the device.
  • For Screen Protection, ADLD & Comprehensive Protection Samsung Care+ plans, coverage starts from the date of purchase of the pack when bought offline. In case of purchase from Samsung online shop along with the device, the validity will start from the date of delivery of device to the customer. For Extended warranty, coverage starts immediately after expiry of standard warranty and will be valid for 1 year.
  • You can raise your claim through either of the options:-

    1. Log on to My Galaxy app -> Services -> Samsung Care+ and raise a claim yourself
    2. Walk into nearest authorized Samsung Service Centre
    3. Call up Samsung Call Centre number 1800 202 1234
    4. Log into https://samsung.servify.tech/login and raise a claim yourself
  • Yes, you need to pay a one-time deductible every time you raise a damage claim under Screen Protection, ADLD or Comprehensive packs. You can refer to the pricing table above for exact charges. There is no one-time deductible for Extended Warranty packs.

  • Under Samsung Care+ Screen Protection, and Accidental Damage & Liquid Damage Protection plans you are allowed to raise two (2) damage claims in a year and for Comprehensive Protection plan, you are allowed to raise One (1) damage claim per year. Under Extended warranty, you are allowed to raise unlimited number of repair requests as per manufacturer warranty (up to the total repair costs is not more than device invoice value).
  • You will be eligible for the first claim after 7 days of activation of your Samsung Care+ Plan and for second eligible claim there is no waiting period. Devices that have undergone unauthorized repair and contain non genuine parts will not be covered under the plan.
  • You can check the status of your claim on Samsung Care+ Portal (https://samsung.servify.tech/login) in the “Track Request” section. You can login to the portal through My Galaxy app -> Services Section -> Samsung Care+
  • No, there will be no depreciation on the coverage value during your policy tenure. Samsung Care+ plans offer 100% coverage up to the device invoice value unlike any third part plans.
  • Yes, you can choose to avail pick-up & drop facility at the time of raising the claim. Please note that the facility is available at select pin codes only and is total free of cost with Extended Warranty plan.
  • You can visit the Samsung Care+ Store (https://samsung.servify.tech/store/view) and check the eligibility of your device by entering device IMEI details.
  • No. Samsung Care+ is only available for phones purchased in India.
  • No, Samsung Care+ pack once bought cannot be cancelled, and hence no refund is possible.
  • Samsung Care+ Plans do not cover theft and loss of the device.
  • No. Samsung Care+ is tied to the IMEI/Serial number of your registered Samsung Galaxy device and is non-transferable. We encourage you to purchase a new Samsung Care+ for your new eligible Samsung Galaxy device.
  • Samsung Care+ plan is not transferrable. However in case of Device DOA (Dead on arrival) we can consider it as an exception after getting relevant documents.
  • No, Samsung Care+ cannot be purchased for refurbished phones.
  • Please call us on 1800-202-1234 if you do not receive a policy confirmation mail within 24 hours after purchasing. We will assist you.
  • Your policy confirmation mail is the only proof that you require to avail service from the service centre.
  • No refund will be provided.
