By utilizing AI to analyze usage patterns and external conditions, the *AI Energy Mode ensures stable compressor operation, minimizing unnecessary frequency fluctuations and significantly reducing **energy consumption.

  • It operates at a lower than the normal frequency, optimizing efficiency.
  • It enhances energy savings by adjusting the set temperature by +2 degrees based on the user's preferred temperature through pattern learning.

*It requires the use of SmartThings App, Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account. *This function is available in selected AC models only.

**Energy consumption may vary by usage patterns and environment.

Please note that to turn on the AI Energy mode, activate the 'Auto Mode' on your air conditioner and the 'AI Energy Mode' in the SmartThings app.

Step 2. Step-by-Step guide to enable AI Energy Mode in SmartThings app.

1 Connect your AC with SmartThings app, click here for instructions.
2 Once connected, go to Home screen of SmartThings app.

3 Tap the Life icon at the bottom of the dashboard.

4 Tap the Energy card on the screen.

5 Tap AI Energy Mode to view settings, and turn it ON.

* Make sure your AC is selected under "Select Devices’.

6 Always Saving is the automatically set saving option. However, you can set your own from the Customized saving options.

7 Monitor and optimize your energy usage with AI Energy Mode.

Note - AI Energy Mode can be measured only when user is performing Auto Mode.

1 At Energy home page > tap at top right corner (three dots) > tap on Settings

2 In Settings, you can find Metering date, Comparison data, Time of use settings & Electricity cost options.

3 In Metering date option, you can choose the days when your electricity usage is calculated.

4 In Comparison data option, you can select the data to compare with this month’s energy usage.

5 In Time of use settings, you can set times for AI Energy Mode. You can find peak and off-peak times on your electricity bill or your utility provider’s website. Also, you can add weekend plan if you have.
