How to use Call Transcript feature in Galaxy S25 series

The Galaxy S25 Series enhances call management with its advanced Call Transcript feature, which converts phone conversations into text for easy review and analysis. This tool allows users to extract key points, essential information, and important keywords from any call. With a simple tap, users can access summaries or full transcripts, ensuring they never miss critical details from important discussions.

To use the Galaxy AI experience, your device must be signed in with Samsung and Google accounts
To use Call Transcript feature user has to turn on Call Recording option as explained below

Step1. Enable ‘Auto transcribe recorded calls’

1. Tap on Phone app

2. Tap on three dots in the top-right corner.

3. Tap on Settings.

4. Tap on Record calls under Call settings option.

5. Tap on Transcript assist submenu.

6. Go to Auto transcribe recorded calls*, toggle it to turn on.

* Ensure that the necessary language packs are downloaded for transcription and translation. Also, choose the Transcription language before summarise transcript. The transcription language can be changed under the Transcript assist option.

Step2. Enable ‘Summarise transcripts’

This feature uses the AI to automatically create summaries of voice and call recordings.

7. In the Transcript assist menu, tap Summarise transcripts.

8. Toggle it to turn it ON**.

9. Tap OK to accept the terms & conditions of Summarise transcripts.

**To enhance user privacy during transcript summarization, an optional feature will be implemented, allowing users to enable "Process data only on device" to ensure data processing occurs locally.

Step3. Begin recording during a call

10. During a call, tap on three dots in the top-right corner.

Step4. View the Transcript

14. Tap on Phone app.

16. Select a recent call, tap on View recording and transcript.

Step5. Summarise the essentials

18. Tap Summarize at the top of the transcript screen.

20. You can search for specific words. Keyword search makes it quick and easy!
