How to use Obstacle Avoidance on Samsung The Freestyle+

The device detects objects on the projection surface, and the projector automatically adjusts the screen size and position so that the image appears around the obstacles. As a result, you do not need to manually reposition the image when wall switches, picture frames, or furniture corners would otherwise block part of the screen.

• The device automatically detects obstacles on the projection surface.
• The screen size and position are adjusted automatically to avoid the detected obstacles.
• When a change in the projection environment is detected, a pattern is briefly displayed on the screen for analysis.

Follow the steps below to configure the Obstacle Avoidance feature.

Step 1. Press the Home button on your remote control, and Go to Settings > All Settings

Step 2. Select General & Privacy.

Step 3. Select Projector Settings.

Step 4. Select AI OptiScreen Settings.

Step 5. Select Obstacle Avoidance.

Step 6. Select On or Off to set your preferred state.

Obstacle Avoidance only works when 3D Auto Keystone is set to On. If 3D Auto Keystone is set to Off, the Obstacle Avoidance menu is disabled, so check that 3D Auto Keystone is turned on first.

In addition, when the projection environment changes, a pattern is briefly displayed on the screen for analysis. This is normal behavior, and the pattern disappears automatically once the analysis is complete.
