You are able to update the software of your Gear watch by our firmware over-the-air (FOTA) service. This means you are able to prompt and update through your mobile device to ensure your Gear watch is up to date with the latest software.

1 Open the Samsung Gear App (Also known as Wearable App) on the mobile device which it is paired to.

2 Tap Settings and select About Gear (Or About Watch).

3 Tap Update Gear software (Also known as Update watch software).

4 Tap Download updates manually (Or Download and install).

5 Download the latest software on your mobile device.

If new available software exists, read the on-screen information and tap OK. The Gear will copy the updated software from your mobile device and restart.
