How does the Scene Optimiser improve photos on my Note9?

The Scene Optimiser goes a step further to enhance the effect and quality of your images.

Automatic scene optimisation

When the Note9 camera recognises a subject or scene, an icon will appear on the screen and the optimised colour will be applied automatically.

What are the different scenes?

The rear camera offers a selection of twenty different modes and the one that best suits every situation can be applied.

Removing automatic scene optimisation

If you do not want to use this feature you can simply deactivate it.

1 Tap Settings on the camera preview page.
2 Slide the Scene optimiser switch to deactivate the function.
Turn off Scene Optimiser

Please note: Accuracy of Scene Optimiser may differ depending on shooting conditions including multiple subjects, being out of focus, or moving subjects.
