Why is my MKV format video not playing when using the AllShare feature?

AllShare uses DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) technology.  However, MKV format files are not supported in this instance.

Media formats / types supported by DLNA on Galaxy Tab GT-P1000 are as follows:
