Do you fancy having your wallpaper showcase the weather? And no, we don’t mean a weather widget—we are referring to actual rain drops or snow falling on your screens so you can check the weather at a glance of your lock screen!

How do I do that?

• Tap on Settings and go to Advanced features
• Tap on Labs and go to Photo ambient wallpaper
• Turn the toggle On
• Press and hold Home screen
• Tap on Wallpaper and style
• Tap on Change wallpapers
• Tap on Photo ambient in the Creative section
• Select and position your image accordingly
• Tap Done

Tip #2: Personalise your phone with Generative wallpaper

Let’s get unique and customise your phone with a Generative wallpaper. Galaxy AI lets you produce unique and personalised wallpaper so you can constantly change your wallpaper to suit your mood!

How do I do that?

• Press and hold Home screen
• Tap on Wallpaper and style
• Tap on Change wallpapers
• Tap on Generative in the Creative section
• Select image and generate a new wallpaper by customising keywords

• Press and hold Home screen

How do I do that?

• Download Samsung Good Lock and Pentastic apps
• Open Pentastic app
• Scroll right on the pointer and tap on Custom
• Tap on Gallery and select the image you would like to use

Tip #8: Use your S Pen to trigger a shortcut to your favourite app

Double tap your SS Pen on your screen, hold down the S Pen button and have it open any favourite app in an instant!

How do I do that?

• Open Pentastic app
• Scroll down and tap on Double tap shortcut
• Turn the toggle On and select your preferred app
• Double tap your S Pen on the screen to activate the app

Tip #9: Never worry about leaving your S Pen behind again

If you are someone who often leaves behind his/her S Pen, this is good news for you! You can now set an alarm that will trigger whenever you are moving off without your S Pen in your phone. So each time you hear the alarm, you’ll immediately remember to grab the S Pen with you too!

• Tap on Settings and go to Advanced features
• Tap on S Pen, then tap on More S Pen settings
• Turn the toggle for Warn if S Pen is left behind

How to use Live Translate feature to make life easier

Tip #1: Activate Mute my voice during Live Translate calls

By now, you would have heard of Galaxy AI’s Live Translate¹, which is a pretty cool feature! But here’s a tip for you—if you prefer, you can also mute your own voice and the other party’s voice so both of you will only hear the language that you are speaking.

How do I do that?

• Open Settings and tap on Advanced features
• Tap on Advanced Intelligence
• Tap on Phone and turn the Live Translate toggle On
• Set your languages accordingly (language packs need to be downloaded in advance)
• Turn the Mute my voice toggle On
• Turn the Mute other person’s voice toggle On

During the phone call:
• Make or receive a phone call using the Galaxy S24 Series’ native phone app
• Tap on Call assist
• Tap on Live translate and confirm language selections

Oh, and while you are on the call, why not improve the quality of your call with the Clear Calling feature? This feature allows you to reduce unwanted background noise, so you can enjoy a conversation without interruptions.

How do I do that?

• Swipe down twice while you are on a phone call
• Tap on Mic mode
• Tap on Voice focus

How do I do that?

• Open Samsung Internet app and access the webpage
• To summarise the article, tap on Browsing Assist icon (three stars at bottom of page) and tap Summarise
• To translate the article, tap on Browsing Assist icon (three stars at bottom of page) and tap Translate²

Don’t waste precious time trying to craft that perfect text message because with the Galaxy S24 Series phones, you can let the AI technology handle that! Whether you need your text message to sound professional, or you want something catchy for your socials, you can get it done within seconds. You can also get your spelling and grammar checked, so no more worries about poorly written messages.

How do I do that?

• After composing a message, tap on Chat Assist³ icon
• Choose the option to change Writing style, or to check your Spelling and grammar
• Writing style: Choose the preferred writing style by clicking on the Show all drop down menu
• Spelling and grammar: Check for errors and suggested improvements for your message

The Interpreter app on the Galaxy S24 allows you to have conversations without being hindered by language barriers, making communication more accessible to people from diverse linguistic backgrounds!

How do I do that?

• Open the Quick setting panel and select Interpreter
• Tap on the language feature next to the microphone icon
• Select the languages that you will be using
• Tap Add languages if you require more options
• Tap the Change view mode icon to flip the top half of your screen to face the other speaker

How do I do that?

• Create an audio recording on the Voice Recorder app
• Select the recording you would like to have transcribed and the language
• Tap Transcribe
• Tap on Summary to summarise the transcription
• Tap on Translate icon and select preferred language
