Possibly the worst cellphone case I have ever bought. At the exorbitant price point, I expected more. Within a month, the grip at times refused to return to its stowed position due to being warped (I almost never used it??) and right from the start my phone ran noticeably warmer than without the case. The soft material (silicone?) also started tearing at the corners & the screen bevel about 3 months in which was surprising as it was only subjected to very light use and more often than not stored in a handbag. Within 6 months of purchasing this product, I started looking for something else as the issues were just mounting and I refuse to have my R1300 phone case being held together with sticky tape. Don't think I will ever buy Samsung proprietary accessories ever again. I guess it should tell you something if a product comes without a warranty.

Terrible product. The strap which is meant to be used via the slide, had snapped after 4 months. The top right corner has also broken off. When I raised the complaint with Samsung, I was told " the sliding mechanism is made of a soft silicone/rubber material that often stretches, warps or snaps at the hinge due to repeated friction and tension of opening and closing it ". An apology and a 10% discount for online purchases. I was also told Samsung cannot help with their own product as it was purchased from a store which is not Samsung. So much for holding your brand accountable!!! The question here is, why produce a product which is not meant to be used? Apart from the expense, I now have no user-friendly cover. I also experience the overheating with this cover. anyways... Thanks for nothing Samsung. The 10% discount offer will hardly cover the cost initially incurred for your rubbish product.

I bought this together with my phone. But I noticed that it caused overheating on my phone which drains its battery so fast. I like it but the too much heat it causes on my phone is so disappointing as it drains my battery. It has a very poor design in relation to the phone's heating system and its battery.

He tardado 1 año en escribir la reseña pero se la merecen. A la semana de usar la funda la tira, o asa, que se deplega, no volvio a encajar perfectamente de un dia para otro. Y samsung no me dio ningun tipo de solucion ni reembolso ni devolucion. Solucion casera pegarla con loctite

Honestly not as thick and protective as I hoped it to be but works fine as a phone case and the band grip is fine, aside from a bit hard to push in and out of place. Definitely not worth being so expensive though.
