How to customize photos with My Filter on your Galaxy phone?

Last Update date : Sep 03. 2020

My Filters  allows you to get creative with custom filters wherein you can imitate the colors and styles of your favorite photos and apply them to new photos as you take them. Each filter you create will be saved in the Camera app for future use, so you can always use it again later.

Note: You cannot use My Filters when the camera is set to a 3:4 64MP aspect ratio. This feature is only available on S20, Note20, Z Flip, Note10, Fold, and S10 series phones.

1 Open the Camera app, and then select Photo .
2 Tap the Filter icon, it’s the one that’s shaped like a magic wand.

Once you've created your new filter, you can apply it to a photo right then and there.

Launch the Camera app and open the Filters menu  If you’d like to see how your photo will look without the filter, tap Original to compare. Tap Capture to take your photo. You can view it by tapping Back, and then opening Gallery.

You can adjust the intensity of the filter with the slider or remove the filter by holding down and then tapping the Delete icon. To add additional filters, tap Add filter. Your filters can be organized by pressing and holding, and then dragging them into a different order.
