How to insert and remove SIM card on Galaxy device
SIM cards give you access to your wireless service provider's mobile data network so you can make calls, send messages, and more. Replacing or removing a SIM card in your mobile device or tablet is one of the first things you'll need to do to get your phone or tablet up and running. The location of the slot will change depending on your model but can be easily located by carefully looking at the sides of your device.
To prevent damage to any information stored on the memory card, make sure you unmount it before taking it out.
Types of SIM card
Standard SIM: The largest SIM size, sometimes called Mini-SIM and found in older phones.
Micro SIM: A medium-sized SIM card, popular in previous models.
Nano SIM: The smallest SIM size and used by most new phones.
The main difference between a Nano and a Micro SIM is the size of the plastic around the microchip. Most networks introduced a Trio SIM card which has all SIM types in one card, so whether you need a standard, micro, or nano SIM, you can manually pop out the correct SIM card size you have to insert in your device.
