How to use screen sharing on my Samsung Projector

Last Update date : May 07. 2021

Your new Samsung projector comes with an exciting new way to mirror your phone’s screen! You can watch the screen of your mobile device on the projector screen through Smart View, Tap View, or Airplay so you can watch videos, enlarge photos, on a bigger screen.

Note: The process of sharing your screen with a projector differs depending on the make and model of both your projector and device.

To use the Tap View feature, you will need to make sure the latest app version of SmartThings is installed on your phone and that you are signed in to your account. You will also need to turn on the Tap View feature in the SmartThings app.

Step 1. On your phone, open the SmartThings app, and then tap the Menu icon (three horizontal lines).

Step 2. Select Settings, and then swipe to Tap view, Tap Sound. Tap the switch to turn it on.

Step 3. Tap OK.  Bring your phone closer to the projector. Tap Start now on your phone

Step 4. Upon connection for the first time, select Allow on a pop-up window of the projector to start screen mirroring. Once successful your phone screen will be displayed through the projector.

If you’d like to stop mirroring, disconnect your phone by pressing Disconnect on the phone's screen.
