What does CF error code mean on Samsung AC?

The CF error code means the air filter needs cleaning. Clean the filter and reset the filter reminder to clear the message.
How to clean the air filter
- Slide the filter out of the unit.
- Use a soft brush or vacuum to remove dust and debris.
- Soak the filter in water with mild detergent for 30 minutes.
- Rinse the filter and let it air dry in a ventilated area away from sunlight.
- Reinstall the filter.
How to reset the filter reminder
- Go to Options during operation.
- Use the arrow buttons to select Filter Reset.
- Select SET.
Notes:
- The display panel design may differ by model.
- Do not use hard brushes or apply force when cleaning.
- Do not dry the filter under direct sunlight.
