Last Update date : Apr 23. 2026

If your Samsung phone is not connecting to a Bluetooth device, the issue is usually related to settings, pairing conflicts, or connection range. Follow the steps below to resolve it.

1 Open Bluetooth settings Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the notification panel and tap Bluetooth, or go to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth.
1
2 Turn on Bluetooth Make sure the Bluetooth switch is turned on. If it is already on, turn it off and back on again.
2
3 Check existing connections Your Bluetooth device may already be connected to another phone or device. Disconnect it from any nearby paired devices before trying again.
4 Connect the Bluetooth device Ensure both devices are within 9 meters and the Bluetooth accessory is in pairing mode. Go to Bluetooth settings, tap Scan, then select your device from the list and follow the on-screen instructions.
3
5 Reset network settings Go to Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings. Tap Reset settings and confirm.
4

Note: Resetting network settings will remove all saved Wi-Fi networks and reset mobile data settings. You will need to reconnect to Wi-Fi networks afterward.
