Why is the call sound quality poor on my Samsung phone

Last Update date : Apr 27. 2026

Poor call sound quality on Samsung phones is usually caused by weak network coverage, SIM card issues, or temporary system glitches. Follow the steps below to fix it.

Check if your carrier covers the area you are in

  • Check your signal strength in your current location
  • Move to another area and test call quality again

Notes:
Weak or unstable network coverage can cause noise or dropped audio during calls

A broken SIM card may affect call quality. Check your SIM card for any damage, and make sure that it is properly installed.
