Navigating the Control Panel of Samsung FlexWash Combo

FlexWash Combo features an upper and lower Washing Machine for your convenience. The upper Washing Machine is an automatic tub loader that is designed to wash relatively small loads while the lower Washing Machine is a drum loader that takes care of normal or relatively heavy loads. The main panel is divided into 2 independent control panels.

Cycle bar

Press to select a cycle

POWER

To turn the upper washer on or off

START/PAUSE (Hold to Start)

Press and hold to start operation or press to stop operation temporarily

Status bar

Shows current cycle information and estimated time remaining, or an error code if the upper Washing Machine needs to be checked

Temperature

Press to toggle between two different water temperature options:

• Hot: Colorfast items

• Cold: Brightly colored, very lightly soiled items

Rinse Times

For additional rinse at the end of the cycle to remove laundry additives more thoroughly

Eco Tub Clean

Use to clean dirt and bacteria from the tub.

Please note:
• Regular use (after every 20 washes) is recommended
• No detergent or bleach is needed
• Make sure the tub is empty

Smart Control

After connecting the upper Washing Machine to your home network using the Samsung Smart Home app, you can control the Washing Machine

remotely. When started, the Smart Control indicator blinks and the top door locks. The Washing Machine enters waiting mode and waits for

remote commands

COTTON

• For lightly soiled cotton, t-shirts, towels, and mixed loads

• Use to wash lightly soiled normal items, except delicate fabrics such as silk or handwash-only fabrics

QUICK WASH

This function is to wash lightly soiled items quickly

Please note: Press and hold COTTON for 3 seconds

WOOL

For sheer fabrics, bras, lingerie, silks, and other handwash-only fabrics. For best results, use liquid detergent

WATER SAVING

Select this function to wash effectively with a minimum amount of water

RINSE+SPIN

For loads that need rinsing only or for loads to add rinse-aided fabric softener 

Please note: This cycle runs a spin cycle only. Press and hold RINSE+SPIN for 3 seconds

Rinse Times

To change the rinse count for the current cycle. You can set the rinse count to a max of 5

Spin Speed

• Extra High: Extends the spinning process to effectively remove moisture from the load. It is not suitable for wrinklefree or non-iron fabrics, or overloads

• High: Underwear, t-shirts, jeans, and sturdy cottons

• Mid: Jeans, wrinkle-free or wash-and-wear items and synthetics

• Low: Delicate items that require a lower spinning speed

• Extra Low: The drum does not spin after the final drain process

• Rinse Hold (No lamp turns on): The final rinse process is suspended so that the laundry remains in the water. To unload the laundry, run a drain or spin process

Dry Option

Press to select a dry level:

• Time Dry: Use to dry the laundry for a specified period of time according to the material, load, and moisture

• Delicates: Use to dry heat-sensitive laundry. This protects the fibers of the laundry by drying it at low temperatures

• Shirt: Use when want to quickly dry one shirt. (In 20 minutes)

• Extra Dry: Use to dry heavy laundry such as jeans and towels

• Normal Dry: Use to dry laundry such as cotton, underwear, and linen

Bubble Soak

Bubble Soak helps remove a variety of stubborn stains:

• With Bubble Soak selected, laundry is thoroughly soaked in water bubbles for effective washing

• Bubble Soak adds up to 30 minutes to the selected cycle

• Availability of this option depends on the cycle

Drying Drum

Useful for cleaning the drum

Drum Light

• Press to turn on/off the Drum Light

• The drum light turns off automatically after 2 minutes

Delay End

You can set the Washing Machine to finish your wash automatically at a later time by choosing a delay of between 1 to 24 hours (in 1 hour increments). The hour displayed indicates the time the wash will finish

1. Select a cycle. Then, change the cycle settings if necessary

2. Press Delay End repeatedly until a desired end time is set

3. Press and hold START/PAUSE. The lamp indicator next to the Delay End button turns on with the clock running

4. To cancel Delay End, restart the washer by pressing POWER

Eco Drum Clean

Cleans the drum by removing dirt and mold from the drum:

• Perform once every 40 washes with no detergent or bleach added

• Make sure the drum is empty

• Do not add any drum cleaning agents

Regular wash for cottons, bed linens, table linens, underwear, towels, or shirts. The washing time and the rinse count are automatically
adjusted according to the load

POWER BUBBLE

For badly soiled laundry

QUICK WASH

• Specific to less soiled laundry with less than a 5.0 kg load

• It takes at least 19 minutes, depending on the conditions such as the water pressure, water hardness, and/or extra options selected

• A recommended amount of detergent is less than 20 g (for a 5.0 kg load)

SANITIZE

For colorfast fabrics and heavily soiled laundry, this cycle heats the supplied water up to 60 °C to eliminate bacteria

• If you stop running the cycle while the washing machine is heating the water, the door remains locked for your safety

WASH&WEAR

Specific to quickly wash and dry relatively clean laundry from washing to drying

WOOL

• Specific for machine-washable wool for loads less than 2.0 kg

• The Wool cycle features gentle cradling and soaking to protect the wool fibres from shrinkage/distortion

• A neutral detergent is recommended

BABY CARE

Featuring a high-temperature wash and extra rinses to help remove the remaining detergent effectively

BEDDING

• For bed spreads, bed sheets, bedding covers, etc

• For best results, wash only 1 type of bedding and make sure the load weighs less than 2.0 kg

OUTDOOR

For outdoor clothes, skiwear, and sportswear that are made of functional materials such as spandex, stretch, and micro-fibre

RINSE+SPIN

For loads that need rinsing only or for loads you want to add rinse-aided fabric softener to

Uses the drying process only

AIR SANITIZE (Air Wash Cycle)

Removes bad odors and bacteria from the laundry

AIR BEDDING CARE (Air Wash Cycle)

Removes bad odors, bacteria, and dust from the laundry

AIR REFRESH (Air Wash Cycle)

Removes bad odors from the laundry

OUTDOOR REFRESH

This helps restore the water repellency for waterproof breathable garment
