Face Recognition deactivated when Galaxy Note 8 updated

Last Update date : Jul 25. 2022

According to Google's new security policy, Face recognition may not work properly after updating software. This is a normal operation by the new security policy to strengthen device security. As Face recognition is less secure than Pattern, Pin, or Password, it is recommended not to use face recognition for high security authentication applications. Instead, use the Iris recognition, Fingerprint recognition, Pattern, Pin, or Password to lock/unlock the device.
