    Hi Steve I bought the ES5500 television a couple of weeks ago, and am most impressed. i also bought the Samsung dongle, model number WIS12ABGNX and it works perfectly. Hope this is of help.

    I need a USB drive to suit Samsung UE32ES5500 LED TV. Tried 1 I already own, didn't work. Can some recommend one for recording TV?

    I'm currently using a "Integral Neon USB flash drive - 8GB" it's plugged into the HDD USB port on the TV and works perfectly for recording. It's best to buy one flash drive specifically to use with the TV and not to use with PC/Laptop etc as you'll have to format it all the time. So i recommend buy one and keep it plugged into the TV at all times.

    I have connected a USB HDD but I don't know how to format it for recording TV. When in AllShare Play Recorded TV it says "no device connected". The e-manual does not give any instructions. Can you help?

    I used a 2.5 sata drive out of a old laptop fitted in an external case. The tv wanted to format first even though I had formatted on a pc first. Records well and plays back.

    When playing films from a NAS that have been ripped to .VOB (multiple) 'not available' is displayed when the fast forward and rewind buttons are pressed on the remote control. The pause button works. Is there anything that can be done about this? Thanks in advance for any advice/input. Regards, Chris.

    I had the same problem.I bought a keyboard and pad. cursor pulls up video position on top of screen which can be moved with pad. A usb mouse would also works.

    I am using a hdmi cable between laptop port an television. When i go to access that hdmi3 on source, A message comes up. No Signal. ?? Check the cable connections and settings of your source device or press source which sends you back to the menu. ?? would be altering some settings on my laptop... if so what ?? Thanks

    Try this one. Restart laptop, but be sure that TV is on and HDMI cable is conected to TV and to ur laptop.

    Hi Jobar, To pick up the analogue channels assuming they are tuned in press the number one on your remote. When your on digital BBC 1 press the number one again on your remote and this will toggle between digital and analogue. Thanks.

    Hi, I would check that your TV is not on the latest software version already and when you had the software downloaded to USB did you double click the exe file to install it onto your USB memory stick. Your TV will not recognise the file before extraction. Thanks.
