Dynamic Cooling System

Built into a monitor for the first time in the world, Pulsating Heat Pipe releases a coolant that can diffuse heat five times faster than graphite sheet, reducing core temperature and preventing burn-ins.

Thermal Modulation System

Thermal Modulation System uses algorithms to automatically control brightness and prevent overheating.

* When "Adjust Logo Brightness" setting is on "Off" or "Low," Thermal Modulation is active in pre-set picture modes only.
* When "Adjust Logo Brightness" setting is on "High," Thermal Modulation is always active.

Logo & Taskbar Detection

The brightness on static images, like logos and taskbars, is automatically reduced to prevent burn-ins.

* Logo detection is not available in PC mode.

Screen Saver

The screen dims itself after 10 minutes of inactivity and comes back to regular brightness with any input.

Plus, your Smart Monitor comes with Knox Vault — a built-in hardware chip designed to safeguard sensitive information from physical attacks — adding an extra layer of protection for peace of mind.

* Samsung Knox safeguards the Smart Monitor and its IoT connections via the SmartThings app. It does not provide direct protection against hacking or physical attacks on IoT devices.
* Security software updates are guaranteed for at least five years from product launch. Latest software update is required.
