I compared all the best rated TVs in the 75 - 77” range and based on features and video reviews landed on the S90D. However, during the evening I could see the reflection of our kitchen lights behind us and occasional shadow as people past in front of the light. I couldn’t stand it so I bit the bullet and upgraded to the S95D with anti-glare screen…BEST decisions I could have made! Now we can have all sorts of lights on behind us and the worse thing you see is a little clouding but doesn’t ruin the picture enough to even notice! Game changer for our wide open living room!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It appears there is some new AI software loaded / included now in my Samsung 42" Class S90D series OLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV (2024). The TV viewing area is only a rectangular area about 20% to the right and left each no viewing area and about 30% up from bottom is also no viewing area...black only shows on about 1/2 of my viewing screen. Have been trying unsuccessfully to adjust the settings to fit the viewing area to my entire screen but no luck and am very frustrated. Noticed a new AI setting but do NOT understand how to apply this setting...This user needs more instruction how to reset tv viewing area with the updated AI software. HELP!!!

The picture quality is absolutely fantastic and the sound is surprisingly good (even though we use a soundbar, I tried the TV speakers too and the quality barely fell off). I love the rechargeable remote is great and easy to use. I enjoy the reduction in buttons which makes no look use that much easier. The TV is absolutely fantastic for gaming! It has every option you would want for gaming like a game mode with reduced input lag, higher refresh rate, VRR and even includes options like adding a reticle to your screen. I absolutely do NOT regret purchasing this TV!!!

I’ve always had good luck with Samsung TVs, but I bought a 77 inch S90D and have had nothing but problems. It took a month to deliver it and then it stopped working completely within a month of that. It another month to send a team to look at it to confirm it was dead and then another three weeks to have a replacement sent. When it came, it had two cracks in the screen and the team had to return it. We bought The TV in November and we’re still waiting for a replacement. Beyond this, the remote control is ridiculously small and does not have the same functionality. I’m not sure what Samsung has done, but the quality is not the same.

I have never seen a TV with such beautiful colors. And the detail was extremely sharp. I play a lot of games on the TV. The action was extremely smooth and everything was as if I was actually there. I would highly recommend this TV for anyone wanting to experience the ultimate in television viewing. I would also recommend a Samsung sound bar to go with the TV. I have always used Bose sound bars but I got the Samsung sound bar and I am so much happier. The sound bar syncs up with the television for much better sound than I ever got with a Bose.

I love the picture quality and all of the Samsung TV freebies. It is great if all you want is a TV. Where it fails is as an entertainment system. The fact that it can pair with only one soundbar and one music frame is a major disappointment. Samsung phones have let you group music frames for years now, the tvs should allow you to do the same. Surround sound would be amazing with grouped music frames. Q Symphony is a joke. It can only control 2 speakers and doesn't sound better than just a single soundbar. Samsung needs to improve its sound offerings fast if it wishes that these tvs be the centerpiece of an entertainment system.

I swapped it for a new tv with the company I bought it from, only for it to happen again at 12 months, two weeks. Samsung pretty much told me to get screwed and it was out of warranty now. I see why they only offer 12 months. I’ll never buy another Samsung product and I’ll forever tell people to stay away. LG has 5 year warranty’s and acts like they actually care. That’s who I’ll do my business with from now on. Samsung knows this is a known issue but they simply don’t care about you or your experience with their products. Save the headaches and buy with LG, Sony or literally anyone else.

Thought everything was going on till one day i realized the coloring was off then I started noticing it all the time. Played with some settings thought I had fixed it but nothing. Then 2 weeks ago turned the tv off on Saturday night. Sunday morning woke up and wouldn't come on at all completely dead. Guy came out to fix it under warranty thankfully and said they have had a lot of these lately with bad chips. Then i also noticed the coloring is back with this new chip. Pretty sad that 6 months in the tv has never worked right from new because there is no quality control. Its just shove them out the door and screw the consumer over.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from a 65” QLED Q80 to this TV. I was looking for something a little bigger and brighter and boy did I find it. I mainly stream movies and play PS5 on it. The frame rate is fast and no skipping as footballs are thrown or movie pans out. The only complaints I have are the remote is small and solar powered or C connection. I would prefer the AA battery option. And the TV speakers are pretty bad. You definitely need a sound bar to compliment this TV. I got the Samsung 9.1 and the TVs Qsymphony autosynced everything together which was really cool. Overall, this is a fantastic TV and is very bright. Love it.

After hours of research, I made the choice to go with the Samsung 77" - OLED S90 Series - 4K UHD Television. I am so glad that I made this choice because the viewing experience on this TV is AWESOME! A couple of things stand out to me, including the clear crisp picture and the anti-glare capability. When I combined this TV with a Samsung Q99 series Soundbar with subwoofer and rear speakers, I was able to achieve a true "movie theater" experience! I highly recommend this TV and I would make the same purchase if I had to do it again.

We have had this TV for about 4 months, actually it's the 2nd one of the same model. The first one lasted 1 day when the HDMI hookups shelled out causing a blue screen with no sound. After that one was replaced our 2nd one did the same thing briefly but hasn't done it since. Currently the TV is randomly shutting off while watching ( blue screen comes up and says 'no power' ) and will randomly turning on (it must be listening)! I intend to call the retailer where we purchased it, it's under warranty. We love Samsung products and will continue to purchase them, I'm just wondering if this model has some issues.

I have been a loyal samsung customer for years for both tvs and phones since the first galaxy was released. After my Qn90A qled tv died (only 3.5 years after purchase) I gave them another chance purchasing the S90D on 1/13/25. The picture quality was amazing. 7 days later tv shuts off and won't turn on. This has been a common issue and is absolutely unacceptable. Samsung's quality control is absolute garbage and their customer service is lackluster. Avoid all samsung tvs until they get their ish together and start building products that last like they used to. I truly liked this tv and wish that samsung invested more into their quality control to make a great lasting product.

I’ve had my 77” Samsung OLED 4K TV since Thanksgiving 2024. Very simply . . . I LOVE IT! Excellent picture quality with its 4K resolution. With the additional options I purchased with it, such as a speaker system and faux fireplace cabinet stand, it expanded my viewing experience to a totally higher level. I’m not a technical geek, but I’m also fascinated by its slim profile and how it can still deliver excellent picture quality. Was it worth the price I paid? YES, and hoping it still will beyond its warranty period.

It truly feels high end every time I turn it on. The operating system is the only real drawback. The interface can be frustrating to navigate and does not feel as smooth or intuitive as the rest of the TV. I also had an early power issue that fortunately had a quick fix and was handled under warranty. It was a little concerning to learn that the issue is fairly common, but everything has been running perfectly since the repair. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mainly use my TV for watching live sports, gaming and streaming like HBO, Netflix, Hulu, Apply TV+ etc etc. The COOLEST integration for me as a gamer, was the fact that after about a month I kept seeing Xbox in the gaming tab so I got curious... turns out, SAMSUNG and XBOX have a built in integration for the Xbox Cloud servers!! I was able to buy a wireless controller and an Xbox Live Ultimate game pass, and I can play Xbox games right off my TV without owning the system! I absolutely love the TV overall, and the picture clarity is on point. I would recommend this TV to everybody for all uses.

I feel like watching movies has gotten much more entertaining because I notice things that weren't in focus at all before. I thought it was just because they weren't meant to be seen clearly but I'm realizing it was the quality of the TV I had now. I stick to everything Samsung as much as possible because I can say I've NEVER been disappointed by any of their products I've bought. Never. Unfortunately, I had two brand new Samsung TV panels die after 6 months of ownership. I was very disappointed with the durability so I decided not to get another Samsung and went with another more reliable company. The image quality when watching movies is excellent and maintains high brightness as well as contrast even during sunny days. Gaming on this TV has also been extremely nice as the TV intelligently detects when a PC or my PS5 is connected and automatically switches to game mode. In game mode the TV runs in HDR at 144hz refresh rate with low latency which makes games feel smooth and buttery. All of the other intelligent features of the TV are useful and work smoothly, such as the intelligent optimized mode for picture settings. Overall a 10/10!

I'm seriously concerned about Samsung quality and reliability. My 2month old 77" S90 OLED TV appears to have a power supply issue as it won't turn on and has no power standby LED. I bought this TV to replace my Samsung 75" QLED TV that went into constant reboot after only about 6 years of service. As a longtime Samsung TV owner, I have several much older Samsung sets still in service. I am quite disappointed that I have to get our 2nd new main TV replaced/repaired in such a short period of time and very concerned that Samsung quality has declined that I may have to do this in the future.

Picture quality is outstanding—perfect blacks, high peak brightness, and very accurate color reproduction right out of the box. HDR performance is especially impressive, with great detail in both dark and bright scenes. Motion handling is smooth, and gaming on this TV is next-level. The 4K 120Hz, VRR, and extremely low input lag make it ideal for PS5 and Xbox Series X. The panel uniformity is excellent, and the anti-glare coating works surprisingly well in my bright living room. Tizen OS is fast, apps load quickly, and the build quality feels premium. Overall, a fantastic OLED with top-tier performance. One of the best upgrades I’ve made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hardware is near flawless just wish the tv had feet at the edges, like my old QLED, instead of the stand in the middle, I had to get a beefier stand because I was concerned the weight isn't dissipated that much. The remote keeps getting smaller and easier to lose, but the app buttons on it should be map-able, I'd actually use them. My biggest problem is some of the software, namely the home screen interface. They used to have a bar that'd pop up with your apps and it was easily dismissed. The newer interface is a whole screen that look like a streaming app, and that takes you out of whatever you were doing. Paired extremely easily and works with smart things. Need different options for screen savers too.

I measured infinite times probably all make models from different brands and finally settled at this. Ever since my satisfaction level is so high that i don't feel like watching anything on any other electronic device at home. It's an addiction. The kind of view and 4K clarity it gives, acoustics and surround sound is state of the art. I always dreamt of buying something like this but was always shy of spending the extra $$. This time i took a bold step and it really paid off. it's a real value for money that lasts forever and will remind you of the smartest decision you ever made.

The remote for this tv and the model a year older then it is the worst remote I’ve ever used in my entire life and probably ever will. Who ever created it needs to be fired and banned from working at any other electronics company ever again. Make it bigger, and more able to connect with the tv when you push buttons. It ruins this tvs experience and for the price it should be illegal. Tv is great! Picture quality is the best I’ve ever seen for video games and movies even in a light room. Easy set up and interface once you get used to it or have other modern Samsung tvs.

This by far has the most features of any tv I have ever owned. It screen shares with phone, I can use my Samsung ear buds for audio and switch back to my phone flawlessly!. Oled TV has impressed me so much I don't think I can ever go back. I can stream games also on xbox, Luna, and a few more with smoothness and beautiful graphics. I am a Playstation guy and jumped at the chance to play Xbox Starfield(with gamepass subscription) with no console or xbox controller. I can play with my PS5 dual sense. That is wild to me and I love it!. Samsung keep making Oleds like this one!

Still trying to figure out how to get my 4k firestick to come thru as 4k and set up universal remote for firestick and having it stay connected is still a challenge but ill figure it out... ? Only problem i have is the remote is volume and channel buttons are very soft amd will change to Samsung TV so easily (sometimes just setting the remote down upside down to solar charge--- or just looking at the remote lol). DOA right out of the box, read ALOT of reviews about bad power board, not having a nightmare, cancelled tech coming out and will return, do not worry about another powerboard going bad later. Sounds like they have problems constantly. Will return and go with LG OLED, to bad.. all my other TVs are samsung and thats all I been telling people to buy as it always been an excellent brand. I wanted an OLED tv for years, get one and its DOA right from the box. I am very disappointed and frustrated, why have a TV worked on a few days after bringing it home???

I’ve had the TV for approximately 2 weeks. The picture quality is wonderful. However, I do have an issue with the remote control for 2 reasons. 1) Voice control has to be set up through Alexa or Samsung’s version of Alexa. It is confusing and not straightforward. And, we have given up even using the voice function. 2) The remote doesn’t seem to hold a charge that long. And living in a cloudy climate, setting it on the windowsill to recharge via solar isn’t effective. So, like a cell phone, it needs to be regularly connected to yet another charger.

I bought this TV about a month ago, the screen quality is lovely but after less than a month of occasional watching, we heard a pop sound and now the TV won't turn on at all. There was no power surge, the outlets are fine, all other devices are fine, previous TV was fine for years. So yeah this looks nice but it's so brittle that I wouldn't recommend it especially at the premium price it commands To make matters worse as soon as I tried to make a support request to get it repaired, the site was "of course" closed for regular scheduled maintenance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture is great in terms of clarity, brightness, lack of motion blur, deep blacks and other details I'm forgetting. I've seen 8k and without being side-by-side, I cannot tell the difference other than 8k is currently in QLED and so is not as accurate with the blacks. The built in speaker is decent but a soundbar is a very noticeable and worthwhile upgrade. The color presets are pretty good though they can be a bit too much in terms of color contrast for some things (some games, some movies, some TV shows), but these can be adjusted; would be nice if presets were more aligned with actual use rather than first install "wow" factor. Overall I really like it and have no wants for anything more, even knowing what else exists on the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use the TV for watching shows but also for watching our movies. It does a great job at both. I wish it wouldn't dim on say hockey. However the IR sensor placement is horrible. The older Samsung TV's we have the sensor is on the bottom right towards the front of the TV and have never had an issue using an IR remote (DirecTv) however with the new TV the IR sensor is in the very middle and further back so unless the remote is lower then the TV and closer to the middle it can have issues controlling the volume and turning the TV on and off.

I dislike the interface at large. In my opinion, it's not very intuitive and a bit more complicated than it needs to be. My only other issue is that there isn't enough granularity in the Anynet+ HDMI CEC configuration. I need to be able to set it so that it doesn't send power on/off to my receiver, and it isn't an option. Overall, I really do like this TV, and if I had to do it all over again, I would choose this TV again.

The tv is in the den so finding a correct comfortable viewing size was important. The picture quality of this tv is totally unbelievable. Watching a sporting event or a movie is brings a very realistic experience. Like you are at the ball game or in the movie scene. This tv is very user friendly switching between streaming or live tv, or any viewing mode. I love Samsung products. In fact the other 2 TV’s in this house are Samsung, but not as nice as this QN 48 S 90 D.

Cannot watch hockey on this TV. Have calibrated, reset, calibrated MANY times (not professionally). Still cannot clear the whitewash. Too bright. Now, speakers fail. Willing to give Samsung benefit of the doubt with proper calibration, but scratches, whitewash and audio problems have me wanting to return this unit. Four days remaining for return.

The PSU has failed for a second time since receiving the TV at the end of November in 2024. This is a widespread issue it turns out and especially on the 77" TVs it seems. And it takes up to a week to get a service call scheduled (with the Care+) so it is very inconvenient going without a TV in the family room. I can't recommend the TV based on my experiences and those of others. The picture quality is fantastic as is the gaming experience on the TV. It's just unfortunate that you can't count on the TV being available due to quality issues with the PSU.

Originally bought it for movie watching but right now I use it for gaming. Calibrated it and it has beautiful, vibrant colors that still remain pretty accurately. Gaming features are unbeatable compared to other brands. Its the total package for a fair price, compared to some other top tier TVs. Paired it with my old q990b and it even makes that sound better.

I had to wait at least a week with no TV before Samsung came to fix it, so that was a big inconvenience. We have bought many Samsung TV’s over the years, and never had a problem like this before. If the power supply fails for a 3rd time, I would hope that Samsung repairs this defect again with no charge, even though the warranty is now expired. It’s clearly a lemon in my opinion.

Bought the s90d 77 inch tv a few weeks ago. My old led tv from another brand power stopped working. I have a unique situation that my house had a built in for tv in corner of living room, so 77 was almost a exact fit. Picture quality and sound are fantastic, i also bought a s80cb/za slim soundbar to bring up sound/bass and be able to use Q Symphony. Tv by itself sound quality is very good, I just wanted more. Getting used to menu and smart tv functions were only thing I had to get used to, coming from all android tv in past.

I was hesitant to get an LED/LCD because I was concerned I wouldn't be happy with a TV that couldn't match my old Plasma's black levels and contrast. Boy, am I happy that I went to this OLED. The brightness, contrast, and overall picture quality are stellar. The only gripe I have is with the interface. It seems needlessly complicated and lacks some setting granularity that I would expect from a TV in this price range. Overall I am pleased with this TV.

As I was familiar with the Samsung menu system, getting it up and functioning was no problem. This model does have more advanced features and I have learned to use these over time. Excellent color and clarity. It also responds very well to a change in inputs and maximizes the presentation. It was also able to use a previously purchased Samsung soundbar and I am able to use the Q-Symphony features. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I've had to have Samsung take the TV apart twice now in six months because it shut off on it's own and never restarted. Both times it was a power board failure. Is it bad power boards or something else within the tv causing me to be without TV for a week, both times. I have been told, a evidence shows, that this is a common problem with this model. I have requested a replacement to no avail. Samsung said that I am not eligible. Remember this review before you buy this model.

Waited for a while to buy this tv. Glad I finally did. The picture is amazing and haven't had any issues since purchasing this in November. One note is the remote os tiny so don't set anywhere it could disappear. Where my tv is hung it does receive a little bit of morning light and I almost bought the S95d due this fact but this one actually does a great job. I would recommend this to anyone and I have several Samsung products that have been nothing short of dependable including two other Samsung televisions.

Purchased this TV less than a year ago and while the picture quality and features are amazing, it has managed to break, twice, while it was turned off. There are some quality issues going on with the electronics in this model that causes them to burn out. Samsung is typically a reliable brand so I’m a bit disappointed to say the least. Especially since it needs to break a few times before you can be issued a refund or some other accommodation. Back to waiting on a tech to come and refurbish it, again.

The onboard apps and user experience of the Home Screen and apps could definitely use some improvements for usability, so that’s what I consider the biggest weakness. I would like to see it have DolbyVision support in addition to HDR10+ as this is really annoying with a modern set to not have support for the latest standards. But my biggest issues is what happened 3 days ago, after about 9 or 10 months, the TV hiccups while we were watching, going black, no power. Guessing it’s the internal power supply going bad. Still under warranty, thankfully, but come on … quality control, please. I expect better on a high-end product like this and this should never be happening. That’s a week of no TV, and while this hopefully works out okay, I’m not currently very happy.

This is a great TV. I had bought a LG OLED TV but did not the the picture. It seamed to be blury at times and the up scaling was not the best. LG does not support Direct TV app so if you you stream it you are of luck unless you get a rough or fire stick. I also use a Tablo stream device and it works perfect on the TV. The picture is amazing and with the new processor the speed is very good. I would recommend this TV to anyone that wants a great picture and sound is good too.

The darks can sometimes be too dark but I think that’s just part of an oled that I will have to get used to. The power supply on the tv failed about 8 months of use, luckily it was still under warranty and was repaired for free. I’ve seen others complain about similar issue so just be careful. It might be worth getting extended warranty on it.

In both cases, the movement on the screen is so smooth. I love how the black imagery are a true dark black. The thin bezel around the screen gives the appearance of the screen floating on the wall. When I switch to gaming mode, options automatically appear on the screen to optimize for the desired gaming features I want.

Purchased the 77 inch back in August and has been great until today. It randomly died and won’t turn on. After reading review it seems this is a common problem. Can’t recommend this TV unfortunately. Luckily it’s still under warranty but if this happens again outside of warranty that would be so unfortunate. From how many reports Samsung has on this I’d wish they’d do something more to address this issue. I have service scheduled for the repair. Be warned.

I have had TV for about two weeks. So far, so good. I do not use most of the features (gaming). I have yet to explore the Samsung apps, such as Samsung+. The picture is very detailed (which is a shock to me since I had a 20-year-old LED TV). When setting up the TV, I was surprised that a 24-hour option is not available for setting the clock. I own other Samsung products and I can set a 24-hour clock display. It is mystifying to me why it is not available.

I am not a gamer or a cinephile. Picture quality is a big improvement and audio is fine for me. Remote control and user interface are good. Slight waviness to screen only noticeable when off. Only negative is a couple times I have turned it on and the picture did not appear so I had to unplug it and plug it back in to reboot.

One feature I absolutely hate is the inability to turn off, then turn it back on in a little later and have it go back to the channel you were watching to the show that’s currently on. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After being extremely happy with LG OLED TVs I took a chance on the S90D because of the QD-OLED display. In two months I’ve had 2 main boards fail and have to be replaced under warranty. Daily streaming with the YouTube TV app looks absolutely terrible and the Hulu app keeps glitching out. AI features are subpar compared to the current LG C-series and the on board audio quality is laughable. Honestly, I wish I could return this unit.

The colors are incredibly vibrant, the contrast is perfect, and everything looks sharp and lifelike whether I’m watching movies or gaming. The deep blacks and brightness really make HDR content pop. We had to live without TV for 3 weeks for service schedule. There were lots of adjustments and image enhancements schemes avaiable. But, most standard setting and without enhancements fit best for us. The screen brightness is not as bright at the brightst setting as I would like in day time viewing.

TV Has died after 8 months of light use. I assume it's something to do with the power board like the other comments are saying. It was great while it lasted. I scheduled service for it 9/6 EDIT THEY DONT SERVICE THE TVS ON THE WEEKENDS. Let's see how long this takes and then how long it'll last. This tv seems to be a lemon since everyone is on here complaining about the same power issue. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TV TO ANYONE.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TV is sharp and bright as I would expect from a fairly expensive model. The remote does not make the TV easy to use with its minimalist design. I normally watch over the air channels received by antenna. With an old style remote, I could punch in a channel number and go to the channel or at least close. With the new remote I need to scroll through every channel to get to what I want. This is inefficient and frustrating.

Just got my Tv a couple days ago. I decided to put it up on the wall and got a couple smudges on it. I wiped it down the way Samsung says to do it with distilled water and a microfiber. Doing even the most gentle wipe completely took off the anti glare coating and made the entire panel blotchy. It’s not the biggest deal but it is very unprofessional that Samsung wants to charge me to fix it. Never buying a Samsung tv again.

The features are vibrant. The color is definitely in high definition. The sound is great even without a sorround system or sound bar. Mine is on a surround sound but when I used it without it it would ad great. I would recommend this but or any of the Samsung prouducts to anyone .

This is actually the second on as the first had an issue but they replaced it with a new TV and I have had it about 8 months and zero problems. I highly recommend a conditioned power surge suppressor for a unit like this to protect it as well. This should also help prolong the life of the TV.

I love the beautiful picture and size of this TV and would have given it 5 stars, but right now my set is broken. I watched a show earlier in the day and switched it off. When I went back to watch, it was simply dead. No standby light, no nothing. Dead. I contacted warranty services and have a repair ticket in the system, but after four days, I haven't been contacted by the repair service to schedule an appointment.

It was surprising that Samsung didn't know the (simple) solution to get it playing nicely with TIVO. Probably they still don't... They did acknowledge that they already knew about this issue. Once the tv got going properly, it has been troublefree and provides a great picture. Very happy. Would recommend the set.

Half of its use is gaming and they come out perfect. Zero lag, pristine blacks and vibrant colors. My only gripe is the Home Screen. I don’t like how you have to return to the home screen in order to swat to a different app or input. Feels a little clunky. But not an issue compared to the picture quality. Spot on!

I bought this 48” OLED model for a smaller area and am even more pleased with it than I expected. I read all the reviews and chose this over the comparable lg 48” OLED. The excellent picture quality, brightness and adjustability made it the best choice. I do play some PS 5 games on it as well as watch regular tv. I own and have owned OLED tv’s since they came out, and this one is as good or better than any.

I don't know how many others feel this way. The picture is great. I do want to note that at times my TV feels as if it is possessed. It does things on its on. I am not even touching the remote and I see strange things going on in the bottom right hand side of the TV.

Easy to navigate, amazing picture, even in the day time, and crisp, clear quality. I paired this with a Sonos surround sound system and the display and Audio sync amazingly and crystal clear. Samsung team need to put some love on quality check, tv have everything to be the best tv brand the image with QD-OLED panel looks amazing… tyzen os need to improve have to much options all around that make the tv a little slow sometimes My 1st s90d came defective and to be an oled tv (premium tv Samsung should be more carefully with their quality check, a 77 inch oled tv should be better than that

Replacing a 10yr. old Toshiba 28” 720p that still works. Woww..! This thing is night&day! Love the skinny edges & super bright screen! Too bright for me out of the box. Needed to go into Advance Settings to dial in your preferences for the Audio & Video. It was a bonus to be able to connect to a 10 year old sound bar! A lot of fun so far. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top of the line 42”.

I’ve had this TV a couple of weeks. I am very impressed with the depth of color, and the blackest black I’ve ever seen. I had read that OLED wasn’t very bright. This S90D has no problem with brightness. I watch in Standard picture mode with three big windows open in the same room, and two more windows open in the adjacent room. I’ve seen no issues with lacking brightness. It’s just a beautiful picture. The up scaling seems good, although I have nothing to compare it to. Old shows look good. Better than my old TV which is a 2015 Samsung 1080p 47”. The sound is adequate. If you want a theater experience I think a sound bar is a must. But for me it’s totally fine. I like that it has an equalizer to adjust the sound so I hear better. I’m older and have a little hearing loss. Overall, I love the S90D. A beautiful picture whether in a light room or a dark room. Amazing colors!

I purchased a soundbar and subwoofer with rear speakers for full immersion. I never get shocked or scared while watching movies. The first time watching a movie on this TV, I jumped about 10 times! Setup was seamlessly easy, selecting our favorite streaming services and we were setup and loving our favorite shows in less than 10 minutes. We watch all sorts of movies from different genres and directors, all requiring different lighting and sound engineering. The S90D delivered it all so effortlessly. No lagging UI, no tinny audio, no washed out dark colors. We truly felt immersion in movies and the audio made us feel like we were at the movie theater without the hefty price tag. It pairs so well with all of our other Samsung devices to really assist you in life as well. We get quick notifications for our appliances without major distractions so when we're done binging a new season we can get those dishes put away. We love our Samsung S90D and we're also excited to see where Samsung takes us next!
