I replaced my three year old Samsung 8" tablet with the new AU lite. 2 major things I had on the older version are missing and not available: rear flash and rosemary font. I don't know why either were removed. I take pictures at many different times in the day (indoors and out). Why no flash? Rosemary font is extremely readable I love it. I read at least 5 hours a days and use my tablet reading and social media. I'm disappointed that it's not even an option. I'm also disappointed that I can't share memory or install apps on the SD card. I'm having to uninstall programs. There is ”other" storage but I can't review to clean it up.

This is a great product I drive a commercial truck in town for a living and I receive my load information as per file through Email. About two weeks ago I dropped my old tab E out of the cab of my truck and yes it suffered catastrophic damage. So I was looking for a replacement when I came across this tab on the internet, and it peaked my interest I didn't want another large screen or a flagship model. All the tab is used for is Email, microsoft mobile app for excel, one note, and word. This tab works great for all of that, fits nicely in the hand and doubles as a EReader at night yes I have recommended this product to people that I work with.

I got a good deal on this tablet just after Christmas through my mobile phone provider. I bought it primarily for playing mobile games. The games on my tablet had a tendency to be slow and crash occasionally (more so than on my mobile phone which is a Galaxy A70 I've owned for over 3 years) and recently it just minimizes the game on its own. It takes several seconds for the screen to respond if I hit the power button to turn on the screen because half the time it doesn't respond to me tapping the screen. Lately it seems to take even longer for games to load or respond. You're probably better off spending a bit more money for a better quality product.

I purchased this tablet to review video footage for work. The A7 Lite can not handle any 2K MP4 video above 30fps, anything above this will not open and generate error messages. I had high hopes for this tablet. The 3GB RAM is insufficient, and 32 GB of internal storage is a joke. I has a SD card slot to expand memory but it's of no use because you're not permitted to store apps on the SD card. The tablet also struggles to stream Rogers Ignite TV and the stream is extremely choppy. This tablet is pretty much just good to surf the net and even then it struggle to keep up with links. Highly not recommended. You really get what you pay for in this case.

This is the worst tablet I had. It is so slow that is irritating and made me loose my patience. You click on an app and need to wait 30 seconds at least for Tablet to react. Downloaded apps but didn't appear in the app screen, I had to search it manually. Often swiping up for unlocking the tablet and screen goes off.. I also increased the RAM using part of the internal memory but it didn't change the behavior. I DO NOT RECCOMEND IT.

I've been waiting for a decent smaller tablet being as most are averaging around 10 inches. I was a bit apprehensive about buying because of the price that the quality would be cheap, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The tablet build is amazing quality, the screen size is absolutely perfect, the ipad mini being too square especially for things like watching films but the ratio here is just right. People get caught up with the numbers especially with things like 'resolution' but watching films and TV and browsing the Web on this tablet is great and you can even get work/study done. The performance actually isn't too bad either; I'm so impressed with the A7 Lite, it's way more than I thought it would be.

Happy with how it functions as an e-reader, which was my primary reason for purchasing it. I also wanted to use it for emails and that works but the notifications of emails is inconsistent. Hotmail notices arrive, but indicated double the actual new emails.gmail notices do no arrive at all I have not yet tried eg Netflix. Would have liked the memory card to be able to handle more than music and pictures and the operating system takes up almost 50% of the tablets memory that I purchased. I can only say for what I wanted it to be it works.

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite was offered for purchase using our Air Miles points. Since my Google Pixel C kept locking me out, it was nice to be able to replace it for no actual cost. I had tried a Lenovo tablet as a replacement, but didn’t find it very user friendly and ended up returning it. While the Tab A7 Lite is a bit smaller than the Google Pixel C, but has way more features and is really user friendly. Because of it’s smaller size, I am able to tuck it into my apron pocket and listen to audio books while I work in the kitchen.

I bought this tablet and its accompanying cover a few weeks ago for the sole purpose of studying languages while on the go. I installed several Assimil programs, and a number of subtitled movies as well as audio recordings. All work as well as their respective programs allow. The only thing I am not happy with, is that the display does not shut off automatically when I close the book cover sold by Samsung for this tablet. My two other tablets do this, but this tablet does not. Worse, the tablet reacts to fingers pressing it while the cover is closed. While this is not a fatal flaw, it is inconvenient, especially when one is in environments where it is necessary to stop using the tablet in an instant. Except for this flaw, the tablet does everything I bought it for thusfar.

This is an unintuitive tablet; the screen's too senstive; there's no roughage on the screen/it's too smooth so it's overly sensitive. Also, if I bump the sides the tablet it takes me back a screen or two. And the Google voice operated assistant keeps comes on if I bump or tap the screen at the bottom or something and I've researched how to disable it. But I so far haven't been able to. This tablet drives me crazy. But then again tablets aren't that great overall (they're not powerful enough)

I bought this recently as I wished a larger screen than the iPad mini (2019) which I have had for over a year. While the A7 lite is not as fast as the iPad mini, for what I have been using the iPad mini - just reading using the Kindle, Kobo and Adobe Reader apps it is fantastic. It actually loads those apps just as fast as the iPad mini and there is very little difference in scrolling. The screen is just as bright and colourful and though the dpi is obviously lower it is not really that noticeable. The actual screen width is only a few millimetres less than the iPad mini but several centimetres higher. And I must admit the Samsung operating system has more options and configuration selections than IOS. So if you only want a small tablet for reading, watching Youtube or videos and email, this tablet is perfect and it is so much cheaper than the iPad mini!

Tengo el producto poco tiempo, sin embargo he notado su facilidad en el manejo de las aplicaciones que uso, me gusta que pueda ver una aplicación y al mismo tiempo seguir trabajando en otra sin perder rendimiento del dispositivo. También he notado que apenas tengo memoria interna, ya que las aplicaciones no se pueden instalar en la memoria externa y cada vez que hay actualizaciones del sistema se va reduciendo aún más.

Buenas impresiones a pesar de que en un principio pensé que al ser la "barata" de Samsung sería lenta pero a medida que he ido usándola me ha ido convenciendo para mejor. Lo que más destacaría sería su sonido que es más que aceptable. He notado en falta no poder instalar Good Lock para personalizarla ya que el software no lo admite, pero bueno en líneas generales por el precio y sus prestaciones estoy contento.

I have 2 version of the tablet what is the difference SM-T220NZAAXAR vs SM-T220NZAAXAC ? One big issue is the app on SD make my tablet reboot for no reason with multi profile when switching from one to another. So adding SD card is unuserfull. Also my Netflix can't put the offline movie on the SD it's keep turning the option back to internal memory. Otherwise it's a good tablet for the price.

Vor 4 Mon. bekommen und leider schon kaputt. Die Seficamera funktioniert nicht mehr. Habe beim Service angerufen, sehr freundlich und dann versucht die Camera zur Reparatur einzuschicken, sehr kompliziert, habe ich (74) nicht hingekriegt. Service gab mir eine Adresse und jetzt warte ich auf die repariert Camera. Leider keine Rückmeldung ob die Camera angekommen ist.

Bought this on-sale a couple of months ago and I've found it to be relatively fast and intuitive. Overall good value for the money. Previously I had a Windows 8 tablet which was glacially slow and had too small button areas for touch screen usage. My Blackberry Playbook that I had was fast and easy to use but of course had no support as it became obsolete.

This Tab A7 Lite is just the best! I was changing back from an i-Pad, and haven't regretting coming back to Samsung at all. Only wish there was a place for earphone connection - can't find one - but my wireless earphones work wonderful and I love it's easy connection. I plan to go from i-Phone to Samsung phone again next month. Glad I'm 'coming home'!

Don't be fooled by its price, this is a really well designed and thought out tablet. It looks and feels premium and I really enjoy using it as my daily device. I own flagship Samsung devices, and recently tried the new iPad mini (2021) and although the new iPad mini has a super fast processor it can't match the actual user experience of a Samsung tablet, especially in this size category. Multitasking is so much better and flexible than on an ipad, its actually a lot easier to be more productive on the go on a screen this size. It's the perfect aspect ratio for both watching tv/films or reading books/magazines. As I said its not super fast like other devices that cost hundreds more, but don't get caught up in the numbers because in real - world use it's more than decent enough. It might be a weird point to make but I don't know how Samsung will have made money on this A7 lite because they've clearly put so much in to it. Great job Samsung!

I was pleasantly surprised by how bright and light this tablet is. It was an upgrade from an older Samsung tablet. For the price, it's a must-have. I use it mostly for ebook reading, I've downloaded the Kindle app. It fits perfectly in my purse so I can take it along everywhere I go. Love that I can add additional storage to store all my ebooks.

It is a really great tablet but there is a reason that why it's kinda bad...i don't like how the screen easily gets dirty, I had to use a wet cloth like a hundred times a day and my hands aren't dirty, it easily dries up the fingerprints and I hate it. So next time if your making the next tablet, please make the screen less sensitive of dirt.

En general buen desempeño pero en almacenamiento pésimo, promete expandir hasta un Tera, pero no te dicen que sólo para archivos multimedia, no permite mover las apps a la SD. Así que al final de cuentas no se expande el almacenamiento de una manera que se esperaría. Por eso en mi particular punto de vista es publicidad engañosa.

Samsung went back to an old format similar to an A5 which is a good idea and seemed to have used old processors. This unit is painfully slow in anything it does. It has difficulty in doing any work and will make you wait while it decides what it is doing. Wi-Fi connections are sketchy.

I am a big samsung fan but I can't recommend this product. It's so slow even outlook is almost unusable. Also you can't watch Netflix or amazon prime in FHD so the picture looks grainy all the time compared to my old fire 8 tablet.

Very happy, I wanted a screen size small enough to make it really portable and good for overnight stays, holiday and travel. Most of the offerings at this screen size were unknown manufacturers of dubious quality. I have been using it for around a year now and have no criticisms. It would be better if I had a Samsung phone so I could link it to my tablet and have full phone connectivity but not worth changing my phone just for that - if you are thinkig of buying one of these do think about phone options. I am ok when I have wi-fi as I can use whatsapp then but sometimes I would like to use the tablet for calls. Worth adding your own memory card - my has 32Gb which was a bit tight - I moved most of my data over to the extra memory card especially camera photos and now it's ok. I have heard rumours that Samsung might end this product line - I really hope they do not, my need for this size of tablet will continue for the foreseeable future and I would like to have the option to buy or upgrade at a future date if something happens to my existing one. I would also pay for a more powerful processor.

I didn't expect the A7 Lite to peform like my S7+ tablet, but I did expect it to peform somewhat. This tablet is slow and frequently unresponsive. It's a nightmare to use in my opinion.

My first tablet. Bought to fly my DJI Mini 2. Many Android tablets can't run the DJI Fly app but this one does. No problems viewing YouTube. Great functionality. Very happy.

It's a nice device but sadly the internal memory is small, and you cannot save any apps to the external sd card which means the device fills up rather quick with little apps

Tout d'abord, les points forts de cette tablette sont : sa taille réduite pour l'emmener partout et la taille de l'écran 8,7 pouces, les hauts parleurs stéréo situés sur les côtés en mode horizontal (idéal pour regarder films et séries), un design réussi conforme au reste de la gamme Samsung, un processeur cohérent pour garantir une autonomie longue durée, une prise jack, la charge rapide 15W, l'accès à Samsung TV plus gratuit et un prix accessible. Les points faibles : un chargeur de 7,5W alors que la tablette est prévue charge rapide 15W, une définition HD+ qui aurait mérité d'être en Full-HD notamment pour un meilleur confort lors de la lecture des textes (le format est idéal pour lire des Ebook), une capacité de 32 Go trop étriquée (le 64 Go n'est pas disponible en France, la carte micro SD peut aller jusqu'à 1To mais il n'est pas possible d'y installer des applications, les 32 Go sont vite saturés), les 2 bords en plastique auraient mérités d'être un peu plus fins (ils servent pour les antennes WIFI, GPS...). Je recommande ce produit car il n'y a pas mieux dans ce format réduit et dans cette gamme de prix.
