Extremely poor quality and poor customer service. I had this monitor for less than 3 months when it formed a defect on the screen. This appears to be a recurring issue with other reviewers having identical problems. Smasung refused to warranty the item and claimed damage had occurred which was not the case. The warranty claim is still unresolved over 4 months later. Not only the poor quality product, but samsungs continued refusal to stand behind their warranties is disappointing.

It has a unique curvature that no other monitors in the market offer; however, this could be a hit or miss depending on the personal preference. To me, it looked very odd looking at the screen from the front angle at first. The screen resolution was high as this monitor is one of the "High Resolution" line models from Samsung. Although, the text was not crisp enough. In fact, it was very eye-tiring factor for me. All in all, the monitor was priced properly. You will be pleased if you don't have a high expectation; don't expect too much for this price level.

Good for gaming, though you can go find other monitors with higher refresh rate in this price, and to look at with its sharp corners and design. Love the fact that it can support USB type c/HDMI/display port and works well with both MacBooks and windows. The stand is very versatile too. The monitor can be raised or lowered or even tilted up or down or left and right. Also the stand base is fairly small for the size of monitor, and does not take up a lot of space on the table. Price is a tad bit high though for the specs. That's the only negative.

It was so easy to set up which was surprising since it is so wide. The colors are so vibrant on it it seems like you are inside the picture. It's nice for multi-screen work. I am now on my second iteration of this monitor. The first one got sent back since it not only had like 8-10 dead pixels, but also DIRT under the screen which moved when you tapped on it. I today got a replacement and guess what? This one also has a dead pixel. It seems like Samsung's QA testing really has fallen. I'm somewhere between wanting to return the monitor, but I also need one for work. At this point in time, I'd recommend try other monitors until Samsung fixes their manufacturing quality. Also, for some reason these monitors also come with plastic foam stuck in its borders (at least for me).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great screen for home office (and probably also for gaming- but I don't need it). The high resolution monitor and the numerous connections make everyday home office much easier. You only need this monitor to work and also reduce the cables to a minimum. Thanks to USB C, I no longer need a docking station. The monitor is not cheap but if you sit in front of it 10 hours a day it is worth the investment. Thanks to the curved display, you always have everything in view. At first I was a bit skeptical, but for me it is more comfortable than a flat monitor.

overall i've generally enjoyed this monitor. what i like- it's a lot of extra real estate to enjoy and seems to have pretty good color/brightness. i like how it can charge my laptop through usb-c and the monitor tilts well. what i don't like- it's missing built-in speaker(s), text doesn't appear as smooth as my macbook pro screen, it has a fairly short power cord, and the monitor can't go vertical. finally, it doesn't appear to auto-power off so i have to manually turn it off/on daily. the curved monitor takes getting used, but overall is nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good affordable monitor however it lacks several features I would normally seek including Bluetooth connectivity Wi-Fi connectivity and additional Port options. With only one HDMI port and one usb-c port, and one DisplayPort it makes it difficult to use the monitor with multiple devices. Additionally without Wi-Fi connectivity or smart features the monitor is not accessible in Samsung SmartThings. On a positive note I love the curved feature and resolution and color are very good. I use it exclusively for work and browsing, no gaming.

The OLED screen really captures the true colors of games like Fortnite, Call of Duty: War zone, and GTA V. Even while only using it at 60 fps it is still silky smooth. This monitor has been such an amazing addition to my Samsung ecosystem. The fluidity of the display is un-comparable, even the setup and plug-in is easy. However, I'd like to see more customization for display settings. Using this monitor has been very intriguing and definitely plan on using it for the next few years.

if this monitor sounds too good to be true, that's because it is. the monitor advertises usb-c hub capability, high resolution and high framerate, but what they don't tell you is that you can't use them all at the same time. you cannot get the full benefit of the usb-c hub and high display quality at the same time. there's a setting to favor high bandwidth (such as ethernet speed) or to favor high resolution (such as a high framerate). you must pick one at the expense of the other. also, even when i try to favor the usb-c hub, it's unreliable. sometimes the usb dongles or ethernet just... don't work. can't figure out why. even now i'm typing this review with a usb-to-ethernet dongle plugged into the monitor, because the built-in ethernet couldn't do its one job.

My wife uses it for various jobs she does through out the year . Four different swim teams . Uploads pictures and stats of her swimmers. She also plugs in different statistics and strategies for her meets. I don't think she would ever let me replace it. For my work, I plug in different options of tile walls, floors. Where to put cabinets , vanities, sinks, tubs, toilets etc. The realness of everything makes it easier for me. Plus when I show my clients my blue prints on it they are impressed

I bought this two months ago, and I am so glad I did. I used this monitor mainly for gaming, and honestly, it works much better than the previous professional gaming flat, boring, 27', 1920X1080 monitor that I had. One feature I love a lot is that I can use it with my gaming PC through DP and then connect my laptop through USB C, and it switches without me doing anything. Another thing I love is that it has an Ethernet port. Right now, I have more stable internet connectivity thanks to this feature.

I thought for sure the box would come with origami instructions on how to create the items shown in the 'Creating a sustainable future' area of the item's page, but no such luck. Monitor arrived well-packaged and according to delivery schedule at purchase. Easy to set up and works as expected. Pleased with the monitor, just disappointed there are no instructions how to create a little house for my cat with the box. Of course, the cat is happy-as-can-be with the box as is. So bonus!

Then there are times in the evening where the lights go down & we all gather on the sofa with popcorn, candy & soda for a movie! The graphics are great! I am frequently using this with a laptop, taking advantage of the wired ethernet and usb connectors; at other times am using with a desktop via display port. The USB-C functionality is working great for me with both Lenovo X1 Carbon and Galaxy Chromebook. The stand is nice looking, conservative but sturdy with plenty of adjustment.

Telling me "IVE GOT THESE CHEESE CHEESEBURGERS 4 YA", just get close. Seriously now, it seems like more times than not, regardless of what's actually on the monitor, the crispness,smoothness & these specific specs makes me wonder if I could jump into the screen & really be a part of my gaming. hey samsung -- you guys have to do a better job at reading other customer's concerns. there is a huge brightness issue this monitor has. i'm not the only one with this issue, i highly suggest reading other user's concerns because they all are experiencing the same issue. i suggest either fixing the monitor's lackluster brightness or don't sell it at all so you don't waste our time buying to then having to return it.

i received my monitor this week and unboxed it yesterday. i was very excited! the usb hub initially worked well, my key board as being recognized. suddenly it stopped working and none of the usb ports work. won't read usb drives, mouse, nothing. i also just found out the sound does not work. extremely disappointed with the product.

Ultra wide gives lots of room and the high resolution let's you do more with that room while also making video content look great. Initial monitor came with multiple dead pixels. Sent it in for repair. Came back with more dead pixels in different spots. Was given a replacement monitor and again, dead pixels. Have not had a monitor as of writing this that wasn't defective. Monitor also has notifications with difficulty adjusting monitor settings.

The resolution is very sharp, enough to watch HR widescreen movies. In addition, cable clutter is minimized since USB-C both powers my laptop and connects video to the monitor.

DON'T BUT SAMSUNG MONITORS! I purchased a Samsung curved monitor and in the 2.5 years I had it I had to repair 3 times! Leaving me with no monitor and greatly effecting my work! Now that the warranty has expired I need to replace the entire screen with my own $! Very upset!
