How to play and listen to music with your Samsung Music Studio

Samsung Music Studio connects and plays music seamlessly through the Samsung Sound app.
In this guide, we will show you how to play and listen to music with your Samsung Music Studio.
Please note that if you unplug the power cable and plug it back in while the Wi-Fi Speaker is turned on, the Wi-Fi Speaker will turn on automatically.
Note: UI may vary depending on the app version.
1. Install Samsung Sound App
2. Connect speaker in Samsung Sound App
Note: To set up Stereo Pair or Group Play, all devices must be connected to the same 5 GHz Wi-Fi network.
1. Play the music with Samsung Sound App
Tap Open music app shown at the bottom of the registered speaker.
You can enjoy music through 'Google Cast', 'Spotify Connect', 'AirPlay', 'Tidal Connect', 'Roon Ready', 'Alexa'.
Compatible with 'Google Cast', 'Spotify Connect', 'AirPlay', 'Tidal Connect', 'Roon Ready', 'Alexa'.
- To activate music app:
1. Enable the feature in the Settings menu.
2. Tap the Cast button in your music app and select the speaker.
2. Play the music with Spotify Tap
Press once to play or pause.
Make sure all devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

2x press = Play your Spotify Tap playlist
1x press = Play/Pause
You can group multiple Samsung audio devices together using the Samsung Sound app.
Set the group as Stereo pair or Group Play depending on your listening preference.
Note: Your Wi-Fi Speaker must be registered in the Samsung Sound app, and at least two audio devices must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network at 5 GHz.
Grouping the speakers
You can set up a group manually.
Step 3. Tap Set Stereo Pair or Set Speaker Group
Please note that:
- You can add a maximum of 10 devices to a group.
- Group Play is available only in Wi-Fi mode and does not support TV sound.
- When the host device is connected to a TV, the group will be automatically deleted.
1. Group Play
With Group Play, you can play the same music simultaneously across up to 10 Samsung sound devices.
You can add not only Wi-Fi Speakers but also other types of Samsung sound devices such as soundbars to the group.
You can group Music Studio 7, Music Studio 5, and soundbar together. Place multiple Music Studio 5 units in different rooms to play the same music at the same time.
Note:
- This is available on Samsung Sound devices that support Wi-Fi released year 2023 or later.
- For previous year's models, update the device firmware to the latest version.
When Optimized Sound Field Suggestions appears, tap Group to create a group. You can play the music with multiple devices.
2. Stereo Play
Stereo Pair splits audio into left and right channels across two Wi-Fi Speakers of the same model, delivering a wider sound stage.
Only the same types of Wi-Fi speakers can be set as a Stereo Pair. For example, two Music Studio 5 units can be paired, but a Music Studio 5 and a Music Studio 7 cannot.
