Upon opening, the hinge feels like its durability will last the distance. Once set up, which is a breeze, both screens are extremely responsive. The longevity of the battery is looking excellent. I have had Samsung phones for many years, but this is most definitely my favorite. In short, if anyone is thinking about taking the plunge with this phone, I can only advise you to do so immediately; you will not be disappointed. Absolutely fantastic phone. Samsung just keeps getting better.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the white Galaxy Z Fold 8, and I’m genuinely very impressed with it. The biggest improvement for me is the battery life. It lasts noticeably longer than my previous Z Fold 7, and I rarely have to worry about running out of battery during the day. I also really like the new anti-reflective coating on the display. It makes a noticeable difference, especially when using the phone outdoors or under bright lighting, and the screen looks fantastic. But probably my favourite thing about the Z Fold 8 is simply taking it out with me. The white version looks incredibly clean and premium, and I’m honestly surprised by how often people ask me what phone I’m using. Almost every time I go out, someone notices it or asks about it because they think it looks beautiful and unique. It might sound like a small thing, but I genuinely enjoy that feeling. It makes the phone feel special, and I’m quite proud to carry it around. Overall, this is easily my favourite Fold so far — excellent battery life, a beautiful display, and a design that really stands out.

The passport type shape is really appealing to me and its been a dream to consume content on. The device is very responsive and I havent had any kind of slowdowns at all, everything is instant and smooth. The battery life is really good too! I like the new si-c battery, it lasts ages and I havent had any issues with it at all- plus it keeps the device sleek and thin. The device itself feels very sturdy, it's well made and I have no concerns of it breaking. The hinge feels very snappy and premium and I havent had any issues with it at all.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an amazing phone! The form factor has reshaped my whole outlook on what a mobile phone can do. This is my first foldable device and to be honest, I've been reluctant to make the switch but boy am I glad I did. The cover display on its own is so useful, I find I use it for every day stuff like emails and answering messages. But when I want to do a bit more, I open the phone and use that amazing large screen. That hinge mechanism is a thing of beauty! Battery life has been solid and is getting better each day as the phone optimises things. On my third charge I had about 35% left at the end of the day. Performance wise, the responsiveness of the display and OneUI is so slick and speedy. Awesome. My one remaining question mark is over durability but that will be answered in the time to come. The device certainly feels solid so I am expecting good things.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 for a while, it really feels like Samsung finally cracked the code on what a foldable phone should be. First off, the pocketability is a night-and-day difference compared to older models. It’s way thinner and lighter now, so it actually feels like a normal phone in your pocket instead of a heavy brick dragging down your jeans. The biggest game-changer is the new cover screen. It’s smaller, shorter, and wider—almost shaped like a little passport. Ditching that weird, super-tall "TV remote" shape means you can actually type a quick message on the outside screen without constantly hitting typos. It just feels natural in one hand. But when you open it up, that inner screen is fantastic. Because the phone is wider, the inside display opens into a huge, immersive canvas that’s absolutely perfect for watching videos, reading comics, or scrolling through media. Everything looks bright and crisp, and reading digital pages feels effortless. Battery life easily gets you through a full day of heavy use. You don't have to constantly hunt for a charger mid-afternoon, even if you’re spending a lot of time on the big screen. As for the cameras, they’re solid. You’re getting crisp, punchy photos that look great right out of the camera, and using the partially folded screen as its own little tripod for hands-free shots never gets old. Overall, if you want a massive screen in your pocket without the usual foldable bulk, the Z Fold 8 hits a real sweet spot.

The outer display is perfect for messaging or quick socials and the inner screen is fantastic for sitting and reading. The new form factor is really comfortable. The Display is fantastic and extremely clear. The Hinge in the fold is very strong but not to stiff and is easy to open. I have my Battery set to 80 percent but everyday use, it doesn't drop below 50 percent, which is miles better than my S24. This isn't a Flimsy phone, it's quite robust and feels very strong in your hand. Searching through apps, it's really quick and very responsive and you can have multiple pages and apps open at the same time. This is a great upgrade from my S24, glad I got one. You won't be disappointed 😉

The hinge is a lot smoother than I was expecting and I love the way it feels. The folded out display is really nice and has more responsiveness than I expected from such a thin device. I have not really pushed the battery yet, however a charge lasts me my work day and with fast charging is full after around 2 hours.

I charged it over night and by the end of the day it was 60 percent absolutely chuffed. Flawless display and responsive ,and im blown away by the simplicity of data transference. Since the first flip samsung has really progressed with the hinge movement . You cnt the see middle hinge on the display ,the protective screen use to come after a year but with last flip it did not happen .Durability has come a long away. No chipping, bending scratches. I am the biggest fan now as samsung has proven themselves in every aspect ."Always One step ahead in the Game ".

I have to say it's the best device I've had, along with the Flip 7. The screen is just amazing, and the build quality is second to none. Well done, Samsung, for bringing out this device. Fabulous display wider than a normal handheld which in my view gives your eyes more to see and easier to operate. Coming from a z fold 7 this phone as come on leaps and bounds, longer battery time, brilliant display and a very responsive operating system in the Android 17 with UI 9. Stunning build quality with a far better hinge. This phone is a keeper for me and I am confident it's durability will last for all of the updates. I wasn't sure I would like this phone when I pre-ordered, my doubts were gone in the first hour it is so much fun, the camera is great and using it open makes it a lot better, battery lasts a long time, I love the finger print reader is on the side and not on the screen. If you are on the fence try it, you won't regret it. The hinges are great and no visible line on the screen when open. The speed is great and it is not as fragile as you think so I think it will last before I need to upgrade.

You get the best of both worlds – a regular phone on the outside and a tablet inside! When my S23 started slowing down and the battery was dying fast, I knew it was time for a Fold. I knew the Fold 8 was coming out, so I waited and watched prices for both the new one and the Fold 7. After snagging a sweet deal on the Fold 8, it was a no-brainer. This phone is everything I hoped for and more. It's super fast, holds a charge forever, and the inner display crease is barely there – you actually forget you have a tablet that folds in half! Seriously great, no regrets.

                At just 201g, it's the lightest book-style foldable yet and feels much more pocketable. Folded: Wide and compact like a passport — the 5.5-inch cover screen is way more usable one-handed for texting, scrolling, and quick tasks. Unfolded: The 7.6-inch inner screen has a near 4:3 ratio that's excellent for videos, YouTube, Netflix, and browsing with fewer black bars. The crease is much less noticeable thanks to new Flex Titanium tech, and the hinge feels solid. It’s fun to open and close. Some people might still find the thickness or sharp corners slightly awkward in tight pockets, but overall it's a huge improvement in everyday comfort.

Fits great in jeans pockets and the right size to do everything on the go right on the cover screen. Fold 8 open 😜 and its like a kindle size device. Super comfortable to hold, genuinely the perfect size for other tasks that require more attention. The display quality is fantastic So far. The battery life is great. I've had it 4 days now and only charged it twice. I can't comment on durabilty just yet as ive not had it long enough but It eems solid. Its a fast a very responsive little unit and feels very rugged at the hinge compared to other folds/flips i have had

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having held onto my S23 Ultra for the last 3 years, I was very tempted by the Z Fold 8 Ultra! However, in the end I opted for the Z Fold 8 because the form factor felt different. I am obsessed with how good this phone is to use just with the external screen and use that easily 80% but possibly 90% of the time. The battery is currently lasting me 2 days which is outstanding for such a small form factor. The foldable screen once opened is then truly something special. The phone is brilliantly responsive between screens and feels seamless. The camera is really only average when trying to zoom, but for normal photos of subjects nearby is perfectly acceptable.
                I recommended this product.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had multiple foldables from Honor over the last few years and this year I traded in my Honor Magic V5 for the Z Fold 8. And I am so glad I did. The form factor is far better, it's lighter, the display is epic, the crease is nearly non-existent, the battery is superb and holding the device in the hand is great. It's easily pocketable and is very snappy to use, very responsive and so far, I cannot say enough great things about it. I had questions about the camera but for standard photography, I really can't complain. I don't use a zoom lens so I don't miss the added camera in the Fold 8 Ultra. Superb all round device!

Its slimmer 201g design, improved hinge and much less noticeable crease make it more comfortable and refined than earlier Fold models. Performance is excellent, while the 50MP camera system produces strong results in everyday photography. The main drawbacks are the very high price, the lack of a dedicated telephoto camera and the relatively small 4,800mAh battery. Overall, the Galaxy Z Fold8 is a premium and versatile foldable that is ideal for users who value a large screen and multitasking in a pocketable device.

The battery is very impressive last me whole day with heavy use and the display is nice and crisp, i love the durability it's got tough glass, I also love the titanium hinge that shows less crease, and the software and top it's a very responsive phone

However, it has been surprisingly good and lasts just as long as a traditional flagship phone. The form factor is unique and exciting, and the larger inner display is fantastic for consuming content, especially older content in a 4:3 aspect ratio. I’m also a big reader, particularly of comic books, and honestly, the larger screen alone makes this phone worth it for me. It’s also much more stable and comfortable to use when unfolded than I expected, with the hinge making the phone feel surprisingly sturdy and durable. Overall a great phone if your looking to consume alot of media on the go without the need for multiple devices.

                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a truly remarkable phone, thin and with a very useful foldable large screen. But, it is still lacking a few essential things, as it doesn't have magnetic wireless charging capability despite the fact it doesn't have a pen like the Ultra that apparently is the cause for not introducing this feature in the first place, it is not coming with a a screen protector for the external display as it used to, no ultra fast charger in the box as the old chargers are not ultra fast charging but barely 10-15 W, the battery doesn't last more than the previous models or any S models. Overall it is not worth the full price but if you can get a good discount then it is a good purchase.

Having the larger screen inside is brilliant for pictures, videos and productivity. The outside screen is handy for everyday quick use on the go. The battery life appears to be excellent with charging limits ranging from 80% to 95% to extend battery life rather than the only 80% on my previous phone. Build quality overall is excellent so I feel confident it will be great for many year's to come. Overall very impressed and happy with my purchase.
