How to use AI Football Mode on your Samsung TV

AI Football Mode automatically optimizes picture and sound quality for an immersive viewing experience when watching football matches. Using real-time AI analysis, this feature adjusts colors and brightness while remastering sound to bring the excitement of the stadium to your living room. This guide explains the key features of AI football Mode, supported models, and how to configure the settings.
Supported models and requirements
To use AI Football Mode on your Samsung Smart TV, the following conditions must be met.
- AI Football Mode Pro : QN990H, QN950F, R95H, S95H, S90H, LS03HW
- AI Football Mode : QN900F, R90H, S85H ~ M80H, U9000H, LS03HE
- To use this feature, make sure the latest software version is installed.

What is AI Football Mode
AI Football Mode automatically provides optimum picture and sound quality for watching football matches. AI Football Mode Pro and AI Football Mode automatically optimize picture and sound quality through real-time AI analysis. This feature automatically adjusts colors and brightness, and remasters sound to enhance the immersive viewer experience when watching football matches.
Picture optimization
AI Football Mode enhances the saturation of uniform colors and green grass to deliver visually sharper images. AI analyzes the content in real time and adjusts colors and brightness to create dynamic contrast.
Sound optimization
AI Football Mode enhances commentator clarity and amplifies crowd cheers to deliver a stadium-like atmosphere. For more precise control, 2026 models include AI Football Sound Controller, which allows users to adjust the volumes of the individual commentator voices and background sound separately.
Note:
- The performance or operation of the service may differ, depending on the original content. Individually set sound volume may be reset if the content changes.
If a soundbar is connected, only picture optimization works, and the sound setting automatically switches to the soundbar's sound field mode.
How to set up AI Football Mode
AI Football Mode Pro
AI Football Mode Pro automatically runs by recognizing football matches. If you select Auto, the content you are watching is analyzed in real time and the picture and sound quality is automatically adjusted.
Step 1.
Open Settings on your TV and select All Settings.
Step 2.
Select Advanced Features.
Step 3.
Select AI Football Mode Pro.
Step 4.
Select Auto to enable automatic recognition of football matches.
AI Football Mode
AI Football Mode can be activated through the Settings menu.

Open Settings on your TV and select All Settings.

Select Advanced Features.

Select AI Football Mode.
Step 4.
Select Auto to enable automatic recognition of football matches.
Note:
- Some screen setting features may not be available on the Smart Hub Home screen.
Football Mode is automatically deactivated when AI Mode or EyeComfort Mode is activated.
To use this feature through Bixby, you must register and log in to a Samsung Account and agree to the collection and use of personal information.
