How to use the Vision AI Companion on your Samsung TV

The Vision AI Companion is an all-in-one AI feature that lets you control the screen by voice or remote, discover content instantly, and receive visual and contextual answers right on display. It brings together multiple AI capabilities—including related information and content recommendations, AI-powered picture and sound enhancements, and access to AI apps and features such as Generative Wallpaper, Live Translate, and more. This guide focuses on using Vision AI Companion features, including finding related information and recommendations, configuring AI Mode settings, and accessing additional AI tools.

  • When watching Live TV, you can select and execute related content provided by Vision AI Companion.
  • Depending on the type of question, different methods, content, and service options may be provided.

1. How to set up Adaptive Picture

AI detects the brightness of your surroundings and analyzes the content you're viewing. It also recognizes the content genre and automatically adjusts picture settings to match your preferences.

To turn this feature on:

Step 1. Go to Settings > All Settings.

Step 2. Select Advanced Features.

Step 3. Select AI Mode Settings.

Step 4. Select Adaptive Picture.

Step 5. Choose AI Optimized or AI Customization.

2. How to set up AI Sound

AI Sound optimizes audio for your environment and content type, ensuring clear dialogue and sound quality. Here are three AI sounds you can activate: 

Active Voice Amplifier Pro
Uses AI-powered audio to separate dialogue from background noise and music, ensuring that speech remains clear and easy to hear.

Adaptive Sound Pro
Provides AI-powered sound optimization that adjusts to content being watched, your viewing space, and the volume level for balanced, studio-quality audio.

Adaptive Volume
Automatically adjusts volume based on your viewing habits and app or input source.

How to activate AI Sound: 

Step 1. Go to Settings > All Settings.

Step 3. Select AI Mode Settings.

Step 4. Select Adaptive Sound Settings.

Step 5. Activate the features as desired.

Note:  

  • Features available when the built-in speaker/microphone is used.
  • May not support some apps or external devices.

How to set Generative Wallpaper

Create AI-powered personalized images for your TV wallpaper. Follow the steps below:

Step 1. Launch Vision AI Companion and select Generative Wallpaper.

Step 3. Select a category.

Step 4. Select the first AI keyword.

Step 5. Select the next AI keyword.

Step 6. Select the last AI keyword.

Step 7. Select the image you prefer.
Regenerate to create a new set of three images or choose Restart to go back and select new keywords.

Step 8. The image will download automatically and set as your wallpaper.

Note: 

  • Daily usage limits may apply.
  • Only one image can be saved from each set of generated images.
  • The number of images you can save depends on your device’s available storage.

Go to Settings on the main page of Vision AI Companion to adjust Spoken Responses and review the User Guide and Terms & Conditions.

① Spoken Responses: Select this menu to activate Spoken Responses.

② User Guide: Select this menu to view how to use the Vision AI Companion.
