64MP lets you pinch in. Again. And again

Galaxy S20 and S20+'s 64 megapixel high-resolution camera offers sharper resolution that keeps the clarity, even when you crop your images.

Photo taken on Galaxy S20 plus’s 64 megapixel camera of a street corner where people are standing and walking. The 64MP gives you incredible detail in your photos so you can pinch in again and again without losing clarity. As we pinch in on the photo we discover a scene of a man walking in front of a billboard with an arm pointing and it looks as if the billboard is tapping the man on the nose

108MP lets you pinch in. Again. And again

Going above and beyond the usual 12 megapixels, Galaxy S20 Ultra offers a whopping 108 megapixels. That's millions more pixels for impossibly sharp shots that you can crop and print — without losing detail.

As we pinch in on the photo we discover a scene of someone carrying a surfboard at the right angle to make it look like the person jumping off the cliff behind them is jumping onto the surfboard

We upped the sensor size so you can capture more of the night

The larger image sensor gives you crisp and bright low-light photos, and it's even brighter in Night mode. The camera can capture multiple shots at once, merging them into one photo with less blur and noise.

We almost tripled the sensor size so you can shoot more of the night

In low light, the pro-grade camera system captures multiple photos at once, merging them into one stunning shot with less blur and noise. With larger image sensors and AI, switching to Night mode means you can shoot nighttime scenes clearer.

8K Video Snap changes how you capture photos and video

Now the highest-resolution video on a smartphone

We've revolutionised the resolution for mobile video—taking it from 4K all the way to 8K. That's 4 times bigger than UHD and 16 times bigger than FHD. That's right, moving images that keep their super-sharp resolution even at the size of a cinema screen.

As you scroll, the video interface appears and scrubs the video timeline until we see the man falling into the water and appearing to step on the water’s surface. The 8K video snap icon appears and is tapped, capturing a still of that moment

You can even pull 33MP stills right out of 8K video

It's a whole new way to capture still photography every time you hit record. 8K video turns every frame into a crisp still that you can pinch in on for once-in-a-lifetime shots.

How to use8K VIDEO SNAP

A whole new way to take one shot and turn it into multiple formats

Single Take is essentially burst mode turned beast mode. With revolutionary AI, it lets you shoot for up to 10 seconds and get back a variety of formats — meaning you can choose the best style for the moment without having to reshoot.3

Select Single Take mode in the camera and tap the shutter. Move around for at least 3 seconds and up to 10 seconds to capture the whole scene.

Steady. Steadier. Super Steady

Sophisticated AI stabilises video like an action cam

The larger image sensor and anti-rolling stabiliser counter camera movement, so your footage won't turn out blurry and unstable, but super smooth.
