WindFree™ Low Noise

Stay cool without feeling cold draft using WindFree™ Cooling. An advanced airflow structure gently and even disperses air through 23,000 micro air holes covering the entire front panel. It creates a “Still Air” environment* with a very low air speed, so there is no unpleasant feeling of cold wind.
Feel comfortably cool without disturbing your daily life. WindFree™ air conditioners gently and uniformly disperse air through thousands of micro air holes covering the entire front panel. The resulting very low air speed generates less air friction and noise* compared to Normal cooling.

* ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers) defines “Still Air” as air currents at speeds below 0.15m/s that lack the presence cold drafts.
* Based on internal testing on the AR12TXCAAWKNEU model. WindFree™ mode generates only 23dB of noise, compared to 26dB with the Samsung conventional model.
