How to use Messages app on your Galaxy devices
The Messages app on Galaxy devices allows you to send text messages seamlessly across your Galaxy phone, tablet, and watch. To ensure a consistent messaging experience across all your devices, you can set your preferred messaging app as the default texting app. Additionally, you can sync and transfer your messages and contacts, making them accessible when using a different device.
Please be aware that the Samsung Messages app is not pre-installed on Galaxy S25 smartphones. However, you can use Google Messages instead. When using Smart Switch, your message history will automatically transfer to Google Messages, and you can adjust the default messaging app in your smartphone settings.
