The wireless charging pad is getting warmer while charging. Is this a device fault?
No, according to the device state or charging environment, the device or wireless charging pad may heat up while charging. This is normal and should not affect the device’s lifespan or performance. If the battery gets hotter than usual, the charger may stop charging.
The device and wireless charging pad has already been tested for security and satisfies Samsung’s strict internal standards.
NOTE : If device is not placed on exact center of charging pad or is charged by non-authorized charger by Samsung, the charging pad may get a little warmer than normal.
