How to reset the Blu-Ray Player to default settings?
STEP 1. RESETTING SAMSUNG BLU-RAY PLAYER

a). Remove the disc if present from the Samsung Blu-ray player as reset will not work if there is any disc present in the player.
b). A message saying "Not Available" will be displayed if there is no disc inside.
c). Power on your Blu-Ray player and set the TV input to the one where the player is connected. For example if the Blu-Ray player is connected to HDMI 1 slot, please select input as HDMI 1.
d). With no disc in the player, please press & hold the Play/Pause button on the front of the player for about 8 seconds or until "Resetting all settings to default values " message is displayed on the TV screen is displayed as the player power offs and resets.
e). Now your Blu-Ray player is reset to the factory settings please follow the on screen instructions to set it up again.
NOTE : The reset will erase all the System / Smart Hub / Network and all user stored data.
STEP 2. SETUP SAMSUNG BLU-RAY PLAYER
The player will directly launch the setup after the reset is done.Follow the below steps to setup your player with the basic settings :
a). Select the language according to the your region as shown below :
b). Press the Ok/Enter button on the remote when the Start button is highlighted to start configuring the settings.
c). Choose the appropriate TV aspect as per your TV Model. Generally all TVs support 16:9 original aspect ratio.
STEP 3. SETUP PROCESS
d). Network can be setup or you can choose skip to set it up later.
e). After the Skip button is pressed, the setup completes and opens the Disc Menu options.
Now you have reset and setup your Blu-Ray player. You can continue now and watch your favourite movies and shows.
