Last Update date : Oct 13. 2020

Removing or Cleaning the stains/fingerprints/smudges from the Samsung TV Screen is important, as it might affect the clarity of the picture being displayed on the screen. Moreover it will also disturb the viewing angle, as at times the user has to switch the viewing direction due to the fingerprints/smudges on the screen as it might be disturbing.

(Use soft cotton cloth on panel)

You can remove the fingerprints / smudges using the below methods:

  • For general cleaning of both the frame and screen of your TV, use a soft, clean, lint-free, dry cloth. Most Samsung TVs come with a microfibre cloth that you can use for this purpose.
  • If you are having trouble cleaning fingerprints or greasy smudges with a dry cloth, then use a slightly damp cloth with either hot or cold water to help remove the fingerprints and greasy smudges, but care must be taken when using water.

NOTE: If you are using water, please ensure that the damp cloth has been wrung to completely remove any excess liquid, as any water that drips into the TV may damage the TV. This form of damage is not covered under warranty.
