1 Which cities are applicable for direct pickup service?

To support #StayHome, we have launched a new Pickup and Delivery Service in Malaysia, within 20km of distance from the appointed 8 Samsung Authorized Service Center(s) as below are covered.


*The pick-up and delivery service shall be performed during the aforesaid operation hours and shall be subject to any order or standard operating procedures (“SOP”) issued by the authority.   

2 Is it every Samsung Devices entitle for this service?

This service is available for all Samsung phones and tablets only.

3 Is there any charges for the service?


For repairs that are under manufacturer’s warranty (In-warranty), there is no charge for the Pickup and
Delivery service. For repairs that are Out-of-Warranty, our Authorized Service Centre will determine the repair required and contact you with a repair quote and you will pay the service center directly. An inspection fee of RM30 will apply for all out-of-warranty repair requests.


4 What is the estimated repair time?

Your device will be repaired and returned to you within approximately three (3) business days of it being received by Samsung Authorized Service Centre, provided that the required spare part(s) is/are available. Else, the Service Centre will inform you of the required timing to return the phone to you.

5 How do I back up my data on my device?

Samsung and/or the Authorized Service Centre will not back up your data and we are not responsible for any loss of or damage to data on your device when you send it to us for service. During repair, some processes require a data reset. Please ensure that you back up all of your important data prior to sending the device for repair, otherwise your data will be deleted. In addition, you must remove and keep any SD and/or SIM cards before sending a device to the Authorized Service Centre. 6 How to ensure that my device is sanitized after pick-up or before sending out?

Samsung is proud to provide sanitization as part of our service, so that you will have peace of mind knowing your repaired product has been sanitized before it is returned to you. The Galaxy Sanitizing Service will sanitize your Galaxy phone with UV-C light, which cleans your device without using harsh chemicals.


Samsung has carefully tested the sanitization devices they use to ensure that the UV-C light does not affect your phone’s performance. The UV-C sanitizers can fit Galaxy smartphones, Galaxy Buds and the Galaxy Watch.


Please refer here for details. *As tested by Intertek and SGS. Areas of item not exposed to the UV light will not be disinfected. Level of disinfection may vary by area depending on UV exposure time, length of UV light to reach surface and others.
