You can measure body compositions such as skeletal muscle mass and body fat. Bio-electrical resistance analysis measures body composition by shedding microscopic currents in the human body and changing resistance values according to the difference between the flow of fat and muscle currents.

Note: This function is only available for health care purposes, so do not use it for medical purposes such as diagnosing, treating and preventing diseases.

 Precautions for body fat measurement

  • This feature is only available for health care purposes, so do not use it for medical purposes such as diagnosing, treating and preventing diseases.

  • Do not measure body composition if you are using an implantable pacemaker or defibrillator, or if you have any other electronic device implanted in your body.

  • A low current passes through the body during body composition measurement. This is considered harmless to the human body, but to prevent risks, do not measure your body composition during pregnancy.

  • For accurate measurement, avoid the wrist bones and raise the watch toward your elbow, fitting it snugly against your wrist. Unlike professional body composition analysers, wrist-worn watches measure the upper body's body composition to estimate the overall body composition and display the results.

  • In the following cases, body composition measurement results may not be accurate.
    • When the upper and lower body components are severely imbalanced
    • In cases of severe obesity
    • When muscle mass is very high
