The 9100 PRO 4TB NVMe with heatsink is a beast. I installed it in a PCIe 5.0 slot on my workstation, and the sequential read/write speeds are exactly as advertised—14,800/13,400 MB/s. Even under sustained loads, the heatsink keeps temps stable with zero throttling. It’s single-sided, which made install clean and cable-free. I use it for AI model caching and 4K video editing, and it hasn’t flinched. Bonus: it’s PS5-compatible if you’re dual-purposing. Only downside is slower 4K random writes, but for large file workflows, this drive is elite.

I use nothing but Samsung ssds in my builds. Both the 870 series as well as several of the nvme sticks. I have 9 drives in my current build with this reviewed product as the primary C drive. My oldest drive is several years old and I have yet to have a Samsung drive fail. (This cannot be said of competitor products that i have used in external drive enclosures) By far the most reliable. A little pricey but well worth it for the reliability, speeds and longevity
