A Device Care's Clean now button is not supported

Device care feature provides an overview of your battery, storage, RAM, and security. You can also automatically optimize your phone for faster, better performance.

The storage optimization feature under Device Care solution supports the deletion of unnecessary cache files or residual files to free up space for users . Qihoo 360 Technology Co provides a reference directory for known junk files which helps Samsung identify the cached or residual files. Any personal identifiable data or information aren’t shared with third parties or their servers during the process of storage optimization under Device Care.

However,  to support not only various needs from users but also improvement of SW and HW performance of mobile devices, Samsung decided  that there would be no inconvenience even if storage optimization feature is not supported, and so decided to discontinue the support.
