To ensure our new Galaxy A50 users get the best Galaxy experience, Samsung has developed a software update to improve the recognition rate of earphones when plugged in.
We encourage all users to install the software update that is now available for download through this 3-step installation:

A notification will appear on your phone to alert you about the new software update available for download. If you did not receive a notification, please go to Settings > Software update and choose Download and Install.
